Great Location in a Fair/Reasonable Room Rates”
during the process of checking in you need to show all your passports and let them photocopy it and you should deposit as assurance and we will get it back upon checking out. the location of the inn is not hard to find because it's near in mrt station and main road (zhongshan 4 lu) and beside by fruit market. we booked 2 business king having 1 big king size each room. the mattress is quite hard so maybe quite not comfortable to sleep. the bathroom has no door but maybe you it's ok just make sure you will advise your roommate that your using the toilet or what, but the door is not visible from the bed where it is located. the shower room has a glass translucent door and has a hot and cold shower, shower gel soap and tissue paper are free in the corner but the other things is payable. air-conditioned room with cable television i assume and free internet lan connection, wifi is available in other parts of the inn. fyi majority of chinese people in guangzhou doesn't know how to speak english even basic. so you need to do some hand gestures, but in this hotel maybe some few common english they can easily understand. last day of our stay we need to check out by 12nn, but we asked favor if it's ok to check out by 1pm since we checked in 2:30am. they agreed, and they allow us to place our luggages in their stock room after we checked out since our flight schedule is 10 in the evening. so used our spare time to explore yuexiu park, and went back 6pm to get our things.

Great location and clean room”
we were in guangzhou for the canton fair, and it is extremely convenient from the hotel to the exhibition centre by taking the metro line. the hotel is literally located right in front of the exit a of peasant movement station. you can find half a dozen of traditional or modern restaurants around hotel within a few minutes of walk. a 24 hour convenient store can also be found along the same stretch of the street. i find the surrounding of the hotel quite peaceful amidst the central locality of the hotel. the room is spacious and all the facilities in the room is new and working. please note that there are no fridge or hair dryer in the room and wifi can only be accessed in the main hotel lobby. the toilet do not have a door probably because we have a couple room. the bed is slightly hard, but we find them acceptable for comfortable rest. the hotel is also locate right next to a fruit market store but it is clean and you hardly notice it is there. it has been a pleasant stay at the garden inn hotel and i highly recommend my friends for future stay. the hotel cost and the location is great for couple, family or business traveller.

Convenient and great location”
Overall 4th Zhongshan Road Garden Inn is valued for money. It located near to the Beijing Road (shopping walking street), bout 10 min walking distance. A underground railway station is just infront of the Hotel, Guangzhou's railway system are very convenient. Hotel staff are friendly and willing to help. The rooms are clean. The special thing happen in this hotel, washroom are always "open" (no door). The hotel provide wifi at lobby.

Excellent location”
This hotel is a small and fuss free business hotel. The best thing about the hotel is the location, walkable to Beijing Road. There is wifi in the lobby but the lobby is extremely small with just space for 2 on a sofa. LAN is available in the room available, the room was clean and well maintained, and the beds fine to sleep on. There was just one small window for the whole room. I found it weird that the toilet had no door, but otherwise this hotel provides quite good value for money. Staff are just fine. This hotel can be hard to find, especially since the Map location on Agoda is incorrect. Get off at Peasant Movement Institute Station along Line 1, and take Exit A. The hotel is called Garden Inn and is located across the road.

This hotel is local at the centre of Guangzhou. The location is very good. You can just take the subway 3# from airport and one transfer to subway 1# to get it. Also it is very close to Beijing Road (famous walking street in Guangzhou) for shopping. Lot of restaurants and massage shops around the hotel.

Cheap hotel,close to metro!”
Are one small hotel close to Beijing road,next to metro starion easy transfert,to Canton Fair,Airport.all city Guangzhou,metro just out door of the hotel.I got offer at Canton Fair time,time all hotel are very hight price just for king bed.Room are small but for one person are fine and for that price in that location.Location are nice many shops,local food,and just 500mtr from Beijing road.The room for this type hotel are very very clean,you not see any animal around.Staff are not speak English but they are worm with you Me i had office in Guangzhou and i visit Canton fair 15 years,i know many place to stay,but with for that location this clean room,not exist in Guangzhou.If you are one person and you need cheap ,clean room,for some days,then book it!

Good Hotel, Superb Location Near Subway”
This hotel is located opposite a subway station, you can cross the road to the subway. It is very convenient, you can take the subway from Guangzhou airport directly to this hotel. Fast and easy. Just beside the hotel is a small wet market selling fresh fruits and vegetables. Food stalls and small restaurant selling local chinese noodles and rice is easily available along the street. If you would like to visit other places, just take the subway or if you are tired, just take a cab. One subway station down to Haizhu Square, where you can do lots of shopping there.

Good location”
The location was good, it was close to the shops and restaurants. Some dessert shops was further down the street, they operated late at night. Beijing walking road was within walking distance. We stayed in a double bed room, the room was roomy and comfortable, but there was no door in the bath room, there was some sewerage smell that came from the bathroom. The staff were helpful, one of them helped us with our request to contact the hotel in Zhongshan and find out which bus stop to get off at to get there.

Great location but not a comfy hotel”
it’s a budget hotel. at first you can miss the hotel, don’t look for the full name, their sign only says garden inn. this hotel can be hard to find, especially since the map location on agoda is incorrect. it’s an uncomfortable hotel to stay. toilet has no door, only a curtain! so u can imagine how embarrassing it had to buy a freshener in case the smell flow out!! (the hard like prank bed is 3 steps away from the toilet) room had musky smell due to bad ventilation. there is no wifi in room, u can only surf in the small lobby with only 2 wooden antique chinese chairs. no free toiletries as well. all the room facilities does charge, please check price before using it. suggested to bring yourself the toiletries as they only provide you towels and electric kettle for boiling water only. other stuff in the room does charge. the bed is so hard that i am not easily to get into sleep. maybe i ain't used to sleep in hard mattress. halal food also hard to find here. you can easily to access any shopping centre and scene by taking a metro station. staffs are very helpful but no english, so knowledge of chinese is required.

The bed is comfortable , I don't how many thread count they used but i would love to buy it if i know. The entrance to MRT is just opposite the hotel. There is a lot of foods along the street, round shape steam pork with a layer of sticky rice on top is much more better than their siew mai/dumpling (perhaps i'm not get used to the taste of its skin), which is just opposite the hotel. They sell a lot of dimsum type of food, but not recommend steam corn. Along the way before you reach the cross junction there is one shop (Yong Shun) selling soy drink. Cheap and not too thick as in leaving a layer of white coating on the tongue. At the cross junction there are two dessert shops,just go to whichever that has a shorter queue and try feng huang nai hu (凤凰奶糊), a mixture of milk,egg and almond. Can try other as well but provided that there is photo for reference as they only show mandarin menu. Around the same area there is one shop called Shiying Wanzaichi (食盈碗仔翅) selling seafood soup in small bowl which contains scallop, dried fish maw, dried oyster(hou xi in cantonese) etc. I always ordered the one that without dried oyster as i don't get used to its weird taste. Chicken stewed soup inside coconut is another must try. There is one small shop sells a good one. it is opposite Ming Ji Dessert (明记) and has multi layer steam cooker, very close to traffic light. I personally think this one taste way better than the other famous shop - Tat Yeung Stewed Soup (达杨) which is same row with this shop with 5 mins walk maybe. I've tried both but i think due to there are some many people queue for Tat Yeung (3 rows of queue when i bought), the chicken meat is somehow over steam because it was quite dry.

Room is bed with City View, Close to Metro Station”
the hotel is opposite side of peasant movement institute metro station "exit a" within 30sec walk. i was staying in this garden inn during the canton fair, the staff offered me a business single room with a king-size bed. the washroom does not have a door, it does not cause any problem for a single travel but it will be very embarrassed if travel with friends. all the room facilities does charge, please check price before using it. suggested to bring yourself a tooth-brush / comb shaver / bath gel / shampoo / hair conditioner and body lotion as they only provide you towels and electric kettle for boiling water only. other stuff in the room does charge. there is no mini bar (fridge) in the room but if you want to get a cold drink, there is 24-hours convenient store "ok" store just the opposite side of the hotel. although the staff offers me a king-size bed but the bed is so hard that i am not easily to get into sleep. maybe i ain't used to sleep in hard mattress. you can easily to access any shopping centre and scene by taking a metro station.

I love this hotel because the location is vintage view of Guangzhou. Far away from Tianhe area around 15 minutes by walk . The hotel located close to the small streets with lots of trees . Very close to fruit market and you can find restaurant easily . There might have noisy around 7 or 8 pm due to there close to Opera house or display event center.

This hotel is located at the most strategic location in the center if guangzhou! The lrt station is right in front of this hotel. Also, there ate quite a lot of foods and attractions around by the hotel! Staffs are good and kind. In overall, satisfaction of this trip is above on my expectation!

it's a budget hotel. selling point would be the convenient distance from the peasant movement institute metro station.follow exit a,up the metro stairs and u see it!yellow signboard "garden inn hotel". this metro stn is near to places of interest & famous shopping streets.just a few stops away.we were able to return hotel to place our shopping bags before going to other places again!eateries nearby hotel offer great breakfasts & supper! but other than that, it's a uncomfortable hotel to stay. toilet has no door,only a curtain! so u can imagine how embarassing it had to buy a freshener in case the smell flow out!! (the hard like prank bed is 3 steps away from the toilet) room had musky smell due to bad ventilation,had to spray freshener daily there is no wifi in room,u can only surf in the small lobby with only 2 wooden antique chinese chair. no hair dryer!!! i have to sit below the air-con to dry my hair! no free toiletries as well.

it's not a king bed though... but the room was clean and just nice for a couple travelers.. the room i've gotten was with no window overlooking outside, but a small window overlooking the walkway corridor, so you will not know if it's rain or shine outside.. metro station entrance/exit is just on the opposite road which is so convenient~! location is at peasant movement institute, in between martyr's park station (where popular walk, mouse street and china plaza is) and gongyuanqian(where beijing road and interchange station) beijing road is in fact a walking distnace away if you are up for a stroll down the road :d circle k (24 convenient store) is also just opposite the hotel with various eateries, pharmacy and shops around.

The location is good - in front of Metro station People Movement Institute exit A and near the famous Beijing Lu road. There is a fruit stall beside the hotel, so be aware if you have an allergic with some smelly fruit like 'durian'. The room is smelly like an old room. Be aware there isn't any door in the bathroom. So if you want to share a room with your friends, it's better to bring a sarong for closing the bathroom. They didn't provide any amenities so bring your own toiletries, even the bottled water is not free at all. they charged the bottled water for RMB 3.

There is convenient shop 1 min walk from hotel lobby. No worry if you hungry at night. Metro 农讲所 (Peasant Movement Institutes exit A) is opposite the hotel. Hotel is near to Beijing Road (walking distance 15-20 mins). Suggest to take bus (2rmb) if you have tired after shop for whole day. Get yourself Yang Cheng Tong 羊城通 card (a metro cum buses card) The fare will be cheaper. You may get refund of the deposit 30Rmb at certain Metro station. Please check before you get it. Hotel room look exactly like the internet pictures, but mattress is hard and old. Reception services were good. WIFI in the Lobby is weak (may be depending to the phone as i'm Sumsung but my frd using iphone4 receiving network was good). Lobby is small and only enough for Three. Must request for room with WINDOW if you stay more than Two days. Because next to the hotel is wet market(pasar). Air circulation is important. If only stay 1 night, I don't think is issue, because we stayed there for 5 night. The management support "Go Green" that's why tooth brush and tooth paste need to pay. They use paper cup inside of glasses or coffee cup. Hair dryer can request from the reception. It is worth of money if your purpose is to go there for shopping or doing wholesales market research.
