Anjuna hotels & places to stay

first the good stuff. Staff are fantastic , very very helpful and it is very clean, beds comfortable. Location is ok. It is more of a motel with a small pool and eating area. It is a dry hotel - not mentioned anywhere though you can bring alcohol in and a supermarket is near by. It needs to improve the smaller details. Wardrobe had two hangers, asked for more got another two. Only two towels asked for more and got them,. Only two bottles of water , asked for more and got them. Felt we were continually having to ask for things . didn't quite match the ratings and the photographs are very flattering!!

This quaint Resort is nestled in the much publicized town of Anjuna. The approach to the resort is marked by tropical rustic landscapes and has it own old worldly charm. The architecture is very vernacular and has its inspiration drawn from the Goan Portuguese homes. It could be very well called an eco resort, with its series of stone cottages linked together rather whimsically. Having booked the one bedroom cottage we were very content with the simplicity and spaciousness of it. The large fenestrations and cozy furniture ensured a complacent stay here. Since we were spending just the one night we decided to dine at the restaurant at the hotel itself. The menu was diverse and the food was delightfully scrumptious, We were glad we dined here. There happened to be a minor complication with the air conditioning, but the staff were very prompt and upgraded us immediately to a 2 bedroom cottage for no additional charge. The overall experience was very soothing and refreshing, the staff was extremely co-operative and the cottages were clean and cozy. The only drawback was the disheveled state of the bath tubs, perhaps it could be upgraded. We would certainly come here again for a longer holiday and recommend it to others.

wonderful experience, well located near the Vagator beach. Clean and rooms are quite spacious. Well maintained swimming pool. The surrounding is pleasing, giving refreshing feeling. All transport facility available. The staff at hotel very prompt in service. Restaurant of the hotel is equally good, providing a variety of food articles keeping in mind every body requirement. Overall the hotel is worth staying and in future if chance is given i will definitely prefer the same hotel.

After a month of traveling in India, I can comfortably say this is the worst hotel I have stayed at and was heightened by the awful staff - a few points to note: 1) Duvet was blood (?) stained - hotel response was "that's not blood"... 2) No hot water in the shower 3) AC did not work 4) Bar staff was rude (they demanded immediate payment for my dinner before serving a drink from the bar) 5) Off location I strongly recommend alternative hotels in Anjuna at a similar price point with better cleanliness and staff.

Casa Anjuna, in quieter , leafier Anjuna, North Goa, is a converted Portuguese mansion, packed with character and charm. It is open and full of gorgeous spots to sit, making it ideal in the rainy season for sitting and drinking marsala chai or a gin and tonic and watching rain fall on the lush garden setting. Most rooms feature four poster beds and antique furniture and many have sit outs and balconies. There are so many lovely rooms, it's hard to pick and even the base level rooms are a great choice. Staff are friendly and immensely helpful, there's a lovely pool, the restaurant offers a range of good choices and room prices start at $108 in the low season. While most of the rooms at Casa Anjuna's are lovely to stay in, one of the villa's best features is all the shared spaces. The garden setting restaurant at Casa Anjuna serves meals, snacks and drinks throughout the day (very handy if it's rainy). The room tariff includes a generous breakfast with both western and delicious Indian options. The lunch and dinner offer a range of classic Goan dishes and are a good option if you want to eat in. Casa Anjuna offers four types of rooms, each one with it's own charm. My favourites were the Luxury Rooms (Casa Favourites) Rooms 1&2, on the ground floor of A Block as they have the lovely verandahs overlooking the front garden and are close to the shared areas. (But they would lack privacy in the busy season). Room 4 on the ground floor near the restaurant in A block is nice in very low season if it's quiet (but otherwise would be very public).

A good budget hotel near to anjuna beach (about 1 km away). Peaceful located in nature. Room walls are thin,can hear next door noise. Thankfully room next to us was not booked. Internet(4G) and mobile network connectivity is weak in the property. The owner (Sumit) is friendly and helpful. We were two guys, friend had stayed here before so recommended to stay again. German Bakery present in the next building. Approach lane is narrow. But we could easily go in and out in our Sedan car. One car parking inside the hotel compound. along with many bikes nearby. There is a parking lot behind hotel enough for 4-5 big cars. It is a no frills budget hotel. There are 12 cottage type rooms. Room service is provided but you have to go to reception counter to ask for it as there is no intercom in the room. We could talk to the reception on the way in and out of the hotel.Staff is friendly and helpful, can arrange bike,taxi booking as required. Overall a good experience, would stay here again.

Great resort. Felt like a sanctuary away from the noise and hustle and bustle of Goa. Owner operated and we'll run. Staff smiling, friendly and so helpful. Facilites were well presented and in great condition. Room was generous with great ensuite. Gardens were well maintained . Pool was great and staff supplied clean towels and lounges to relax on. Restaurant was amazing. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Reliable wifi . Reception arranged tours and transport. Saturday night markets at Anjuna were interesting and a great place to shop. Loved everything about Hacienda De Goa and would highly recommend it for a prolonged stay. We were sad to leave after 4 nights. Total relaxation.

The best part here is that all the rooms face the pool. The set up is such that there is a pool in the center and all the rooms surrounding it. The restaurant is quite good. They make everything fresh. I am pure veg and they use to customize my order the way I want. I also ordered Jain food couple of times. Its equidistant to Anjuna and Vagator beach. The later one being more peaceful and beautiful. Nicely sourunded by other restraunts as well. Dum Biryani, Basilico (Italian, cafe's etc.

Anjuna Beach Resort.... this resort is a very chilled out setup in anjuna with a very rejuvenating and laid-back vibe to it... The rooms are well maintained and clean with all the comfort one would want in a room.... The resort has a pool which is the main attraction anyone would want in a resort particularly. Staff at the resort is extremely helpful and friendly with always emitting out the positive and happy vibes for any assistance.... the resort also provides options to rent a car or bike and provide taxi's for the airport transfers. I want to thank Mr Dom and Mr Manish the manager of the property both of them are the one point contact for anything you want, you name it they have it ready for you. My experience at this property has been wonderful i am not going to stay anywhere else if I'm in Goa anytime.... Thank you for the lovely hospitality you have shown towards your guests. I strongly recommend that if you are looking for a place in anjuna just go to anjuna beach resort.

Although the rooms at the Country Club de Goa feel a bit too much like a government-run hotel, the common areas and grounds; landscaping around the pool, the pool itself, and the restaurant made this stay well worth it and an excellent value. The breakfast included with the rate was an endless buffet, and excellent, consisting of table service through many courses and dishes, all unlimited. The restaurant staff - we ate there for a dinner and breakfast, so saw two shifts - were attentive and friendly. I would not recommend the spa offering Ayurvedic massage, which is not directly managed by the hotel, as the massage I got there was nothing more than repetitive, untrained slathering of oil in an ultimately irritating manner. The hotel's location is good, situated between the seashore and the main area of north Anjuna where you can find several good restaurant options, an internet cafe and bookshop, rickshaw drivers, a liquor store and some small stalls selling general goods.

To my experience Pebbles Guesthouse at Anjuna is by far the best place to stay at while you're in Anjuna, Goa. The rooms are amazing, spacious, decent and clean, rooms are with The best part is that rooms are with a balcony which overlooks the property garden and other fields. One can sit and relax and enjoy the view, many birds could be seen from balcony, if you are lucky enough, can also see to peafowls as well. Coming to the service, Joseph Uncle who's the owner, is a very friendly, helpful and ever smiling person. Neelam the guy who takes care of the property is excellent in his job. Raj who is at the reception is very helpful and Mr. Sabu the cook is undoubtedly the best chef in Goa. The USP of this hotel is excellent rooms, amazing food and smiling faces all around. What more does one need? I would certainly recommend this property to everyone while in Anjuna,Goa.

I spent a long time trying to find the perfect place in anjuna. I was a bit worried about booking this place as it wasn't on trip adviser. However it was a lovely stay, particularly after two weeks of travelling in crazy north India. This place was a collection of wooden beach huts. Ours had a comfortable bed, ac, warm shower. And nice sea view from the veranda. The place didn't have wifi but all of the beach restaurants did. Anjuna was a nice enough base. The best restaurant was called sunset bar we thought. However there wasn't too much happening in the evening, maybe that was because April was off season. We rented scooters from a shop near by which was a great way to expire Goa. In summary a brilliant place to stay in Anjuna

Very nice hostel with a super helpful owner. If you need anything, just ask him and he'll try his best to help you. The hostel has a nice kitchen (soon two!), which you can use to cook your own food (or pay a few Rupees and let one of the cooks cook for you). The location is a little outside which means there is not a lot noise (but also that you either have to walk a little to get to the beaches or that you have to rent a scooter). The Hostel is very new so most things are in a good state (a few small things are missing, but again, if you miss something, just let the owner know and he'll probably get it within a few days). Friendly staff but sometimes weren't around when needed & no one answered the phone. Lots of power cuts but not hotels fault. Bathroom could be a lot cleaner/re-paint? But shower was good & we had hot water & toiletries. Bed very comfy & decent size room. Sky tv is great. Complimentary tea & coffee too. Breakfast included was just average, only egg & toast- one day they ran out of bread. Can get washing done which is good. Wifi problems, didn't really work in the room but they had a new router installed last day & worked fine. The pool didn't seem clean so didn't use it. Problem being off season & empty hotel so I think they didn't want to spend time/money cleaning. Just scummy on top of the water which is a shame. There were no seats around pool & not as inviting as the photos look. Rented a bike through hotel very easy, and location is good, little shop for water, alcohol and other snacks 1 minute walk. Nice & quiet at night. Hotel organised our taxi back to airport.

I had a pleasant stay at the Evershine Guesthouse. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is within walking distance to whatever there is to see in Anjuna. Friendly and helpful staff and good internet connection. The only downside i found was that there is no dining facilities in the guesthouse and no fridge in the room, so one had to go out for all meals, but on the other hand restaurants are just around the corner.

we stayed at this hotel for our wedding anniversary trip and we really liked it. the hotel is actually value for money, the staff is helpful, rooms are decent size and neat. the main attraction is the daily buffet breakfast which we never missed and the pool. this hotel is near the german bakery, anjuna beach and the anjuna night market. although the hotel is a little far from bagha and other popular beaches but you can also hire a scooter for rs250/day at the hotel reception and roam around and see all other beaches.

A really nice hotel set in lovely gardens away from the hustle and bustle of Anjuna. The decor is very quirky but fascinating with lots of antiques and the rooms are all themed - we had the Vietnam Room. Food is good, especially for Anjuna which generally poor and served in either the garden or a small restaurant near the bar. Breakfast is a little basic and could be improved -only one cup of tea/coffee is included which seems a bit petty. Our room was clean and very comfortable with a four poster bed and plenty of space. There is a swimming pool in the garden and large pool towels are supplied on request. The staff were very helpful and friendly and offered to book taxis and motorbikes. The beach is a twenty minute stroll away passing restaurants, bars and souvenir shops/stalls which make the walk pleasant. There is no Wifi at present and this would be an improvement if available. Internet is available on request.

Unforgettable experience during our Goa trip. We will definitely recommend everyone this hotel. Excellent service, clean and neat room. The care taker helped us and gave us the best location rooms and guided us to make our trip the best. Thanks a lot to all the staff members for making our trip memorable. I would rake the hotel as one of the best in Anjuna Vagator location. Pawan you rock Dude ...!
