It is approximately 3 km from Alor Setar (South) PLUS exit, and near the main road - very easy to reach. Ample parking along the roadside and some parking within the hotel building if you are lucky. I do not remember seeing an elevator. My room is at first floor so just climb the stairs. Room size reminds me of Tune Hotel. It is very clean, has tea/coffee making facilities, and has water dispenser (not COWAY and such, it's those water spout thingy) on every floor. What put me off is the pipe water quality, which according to the hotel staff is the underlying problem with the local water utility board. Throughout the evening I tried checking the running from the pipe and its brownish looking. Can't wash up that night due to this, no biggie. Next day early morning I check the water again and now its clean. The salvation here is the Chinese restaurant next door serves great dimsum (non halal); get your breakfast here.

Good choice for family with lower budget”
Stay for 1 RN in family room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed. Room is clean and tidy with necessary amenities such as mugs, water bottle, coffee/tea sachet, shower gel etc, but no toothbrush and toothpaste provided. Room is also bright unlike other budget hotels. Hotel staffs are very helpful. Hotel does provide carpark for guests within hotel area but limited lots. However, outside hotel has street parking for guests which need to be paid as it belong to state government. Bad things are hair dryer in my room not functioning well. It can't be used when it is overheat. Hair dryer only can use for 10seconds each time and need to wait for 5-8mins to on it back. This is disaster for the one with long hair. Second, my room was assigned at level 1 which just right behind reception. It is very noisy and felt annoying especially during night time. Suggest to request higher floor even though as mentioned by receptionist room is not that noisy (I even checked with receptionist before I checking in). Overall, as a budget hotel, still consider good.
