Calangute hotels & places to stay

Had a great stay at the Hard Rock hotel. Things I loved: * Great ambiance. * Great choice of music at the poolside and at the restaurant * Breakfast spread was excellent, lots of options! * Beds were super comfortable! * Bottled water and baby food is complimentary and unlimited * Must mention - Mr Mehraj and his helpful nature. (We had heard a lot about him from several reviewers, and he is indeed extremely nice) Things I didn't like: * Too hard to find, especially if you are driving a car. Even after following the route on Google Maps, I had to go around the Calangute circle/KFC area at least 5 times before I could find the very narrow road leading to the hotel. There should at least be a significantly noticeable signboard indicating the route. * The much-advertised "Sound Of Your Stay" feature, which promises to stream music directly to rooms was not operational. * Rooms tend to feel claustrophobic due to the black blinds and generally small sized rooms.

Outstanding customer service! Each and every member of the hotel staff provided extraordinary service. The hotel is located at one of the nicer beaches, Calangute - Goa! The hotel is surrounded by variety of restaurants/cuisines for every type. Taxis are available outside the hotel gate and the drivers are extremely reliable. I would definitely recommend The Park at Calangute to anyone traveling to Goa and wants a 5-star hotel on the beach and shops and restaurants.

the staff was really very helpful & supportive.location is also very very good. Calangute Beach is just 10 minutes walk.Tittos lane is just 3-4 km from hotel. you can get rented bikes or cars just in front of hotel housekeeping staff need to take proactive approach as they forget to clean my room one day even after conveying the message in morning at reception. you will feel like home stay as the staff is really really very polite 😊😊 & helpful ,even the security guard always welcome you with 😊😊😊😊😊😊 & ready to help you out. I would like to mention name of Mr John who is guest care taker manager ,he is awesome peerson & down to earth. Secondly Miss Sheetal who customer relationship executive is also very helpful & always welcome with big smile thanks ot hotel staff for making this trip wonderful & memorable swimming pool is also very good they have pool for children also keep it up the fantastic job !!! must recommended the hotel Ratna Sagar is restaurant on calangute beach having wonderful food & drinks & live karaoke music ,must visit this thanks !!!!!😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

bloomrooms@Calangute offers reasonably priced rooms just 15 mins away from the beach. The rooms are a bit small (22 sq. meters) but clean, comfy bed. Despite booking the room very late and at the absolute high point of the Goa season, I felt it was a superb deal (10K INR for 30th Dec to the 1st) considering how exorbitant rooms generally go for. It's situated just off the main road opposite Infantaria and can be tough to spot from the street (Guys put up a sign!) but google maps will lead you right to it! The pool area is nice and complimentary breakfast is very decent (the coffee really needs work though). It doesn't look like much when you walk up the alley but they've made excellent use of the space they have and the white and bloomroom signature yellows are cheery and welcoming. There's iMacs for us to use (and a game room that should be ready soon) and the staff are helpful without being intrusive. Great for couples or solo travelers who come just for the sun and the sand.

Simply the best...perfect location in the main road and a short 4 min walk to calangute beach. Staff are all amazing, they go above and beyond to make your stay fantastic. The chef comes tell us whatever food we want from any country we can just message her and she will make it. Breakfast is full of options, rooms are huge and clean and modern. Pool is big and they have yummy cocktails. Cant recommend this enough!

When we first arrived at the hotel, the manager couldn't find our Agoda booking on the system. After many hours of travelling, my partner and I were pretty irritated at the situation. The manager said he didn't have our room type so upgraded us and said he would speak to Agoda. I too messaged them and by the time I had heard back from Agoda the manager said everything had been sorted!! (Thanks Agoda!!!) The manager was very helpful during this lil hiccup and we were impressed with the general service and condition of the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful and from the rooms to the pool, the hotel was in good clean condition. It's not the larges in the world, but perfect for going out to the beach during the day. Calangute is very busy, mainly with other tourists from India and quite a few Russians. If you prefer quieter beaches head for south goa. But the beaches are lined with lots of shacks to eat and drink in with loads of gorgeous sea food. There are a few places in between the beach and the hotel to buy bits n bobs from. Loads of rental places and watersports on the beach. The location was great, the staff were attentive, the breakfast was yummy, the hotel was clean and it was good value for money. Would definitely stay here again. I stayed at a place in the south with the same star rating and similar price called joecons and it was awful!! The citrus was definitely worth it!

Great accommodation but they provide window A.C. and television is also old model not LCD or LED, that is not expecting from this resort. The food specially breakfast is average, item are limited and no more variation. Main plus point this resort is Calangute Beach is walking distance. Resort itself having a personal Beach but this Beach is dirty and occupied by the fisherman.

Had a good time at Pirache. Its very close to Calangute beach and has also access to main market but the main attraction is the hotel itself. I was there with my wife and we got to rejuvenate ourselves at the swimming pool as well as the spa. The rooms are spacious and the swimming pool facing balconies add to the beauty of the place. Following points are recommended for improvement:- 1. The rooms are infested with bed bugs. The hotel needs to take action to eradicate the menace. 2. Some arrangement might be done to avoid falling of leaves and twigs of the tree which covers the swimming pool. During monsoon, the insects also fall in water which might be an issue for the pool goers. 3. The standard of breakfast needs to be raised. Options for egg dishes may be given to the guest rather than only keeping boiled eggs. Regards.

Ocean Palms, Goa is a very nice + neat + modern design hotel. Its a new constructions so it has its advantages in terms of overall looks and design. Coming to the rooms, the superior / delux are spacious enough for a small family, and executive ones are ones with balcony and pool side view. ( Do mention in you email to the hotel that what kind of room do you require, after your booking is done ) Room has all the sufficient luxuries that a good 4 star hotel must have, but yes they lack minor in terms of bathroom construction. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, my mother required a wheelchair as she had problem in walking, so they really helped us by providing one. another scope of improvement could be in north Indian food.. My overall experience with the hotel was greatt... Its close to calangute beach..

From New York we thought our staying in SM will be good after reviewing other people's feedback. But our real life experience surpassed our expectations way more. The place is clean, calm and quiet. Staff is the best. They are polite and caring. Never felt we were away from home. Chef Mr. Adil Khan not only a great cook but really a good person also. He took us for a guided tour into the hotel area that has a fabulous landscape being on the hills. Everywhere u can look at u will find their artistic touch, full of antiques. Go to the dining u will b taken care of as a family member. I took the last parata in my plate; few minutes later before I could start one staff came with a fresh one to replace that. Last, but not the least, we should mention about the driver Mr. Selim, who has always been a guide and friend. He's always been smiling, cordial and helpful as an elder brother even he is younger to us, I guess. Everything together it was fabulous! Wanna come back here again and again

We booked the rooms at last moment. We got last 2 rooms. They were in better condition keeping in view that we booked the same at the last moment during deepawali season. Excellent location on main road 5 minutes drive from calangut beach. ( We dont frequent the same as it is too crowded now a days and has lost its charm) As regards rooms they were little musty, aircon was not working properly, fridge was not working, no continental or non veg items in breakfast (We had to request for egg preparations and same were provided on request.) We were told their new rooms were much better. May visit again to explore the same.

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here due to the location. The rooms are basic but very clean, with a daily room clean service if required. If you are a light sleeper, request a rear bedroom / pool side bedroom as the road is very noisy and some rooms face the road. The pool area is lovely too and you can be on the beach in less than 10 mins walk. Wifi very hit and miss and chargeable but if you're not fussed about this and want a great value base in a good location - on the very edge of Calangute 5 mins walk into Baga down the main road - then this hotel will serve you very well. We would stay there again.

I would like to share with all that i had a wonderful stay here with my family. Hotel is located at 8-10 minutes walking distance from Calangute beach. Rooms are very clean, washroom is quite big and upto 5* hotel standards. It has LED with HD channels so you enjoy in room as well. You can easily get scooters or car on rent from here. Staff is very well mannered and helpful. Talking about breakfast which was included in my package - It was good, but dont expect lot of variety. I would say it has basic items included in breakfast like sandwich, boiled eggs, juice, poori aaloo etc. So overall a perfect hotel for everyone to stay. Highly Recommended..!!

i stayed at about 8 hotels over my visit to india, and this was the best. they really made traveling to a new country (full of shady vendors and business practices) easy. i mean i felt like i was on vacation, i had no worries. they set up a scooter rental for me right away, and the price (350 per day) wasnt the cheapest, it was the offer i got most often from everywhere else. they also arrange cars for you, so you dont have to negotiate with the driver yourself, if you dont like scooters. they also do a shuttle to and from calangute market/beach, so you can just get out there for free too. forget sunscreen? i was in the back pool, and i noticed something strange. 30 plus bottles of suntan lotion, every kind imaginable, just sitting on a table free to use. i guess they just kept all the bottles people left in their rooms, but instead of tossing them offer them to guests. room service is cheap and quick, the rooms have every amenity you might need. from ac, fans, and a tv to a mini fridge, and all without one of those annoying keys that you have to put in the wall to get electricity to were. the room was huge, and had a balcony. the only problem i had was with wifi. you have to pay per hour (lame) and you can only access wifi from some room on the first floor by the lobby (lamer!). at the price and speed, and also since you can only use your own device, i would say going into town to an internet cafe is a better option.

We were able to stay 3 nights in one of their renovated rooms, it was fantastic. Comfortable bed, nice linens, good decor, excellent bathroom and toiletries. Cleanliness was excellent. Definitely a place to stay if you have some extra cash on your travels. Used to be called sunkissed resort, so some drivers have trouble finding it. Calangute beach is not for the quiet beach seekers though, town dump is right beside the main entrance to the beach and the throngs of people make it seem like a trip to the night market... We went further down the beach, to the south, and it was quieter, but a bit of a walk. The hotel has a nice pool though and it is quiet, but you go to Goa to see the beach, so it's a tough call.

So, there was again an issue with my booking. It was my honeymoon and on the day we were going to check-in, we called the hotel that we earlier booked in to check if they are sending an airport pickup and to my shock they said I did not have a booking with them. After making a new international calls to Agoda (Agoda don't have a presence in India), they were very professional to sort this out and offered two options at the same price that I paid earlier. And That's how I chose Azzure. One of the best decisions ever, our honeymoon was pleasant and memorable. The rooms were amazingly clean and beautifully decorated with a touch of modern amenities and touch of India's tradition. Staffs were very polite and helpful. Room service food was just brilliant, we came back to hotel couple of nights just to try their food again. Buffet breakfast was average, could be improved. Free shuttle to Calangute beach is also available only for drop. Calangute and Baga beaches are very close by (2kms & 3kms from hotel). I would highly recommend for a family stay here.

Last night i stayed in this resort, they provided very good room with Well working air Condition, Television, Refrigerator and Geyser. A Pool side bar and Restaurant is there where getting very tasty seafood n other dishes. Price was reasonable. they have karaoke facility to entertain their guests. just near to Calangute beach and baga beach and market. Wi-Fi was free n high speed. we booked through Agoda. com and we got the booking for very reasonable price. thank you guys who served us in this hotel and thank you Agoda. com.
