A great place to have a quiet weekend.Value for money. Located slightly inner from the bustling candolim street giving you the silent and soothing environment for people to relax and stretch their legs from their over stressed life.Just 2 min walk to the main road of Candolim.A very friendly and courteous staff right from front desk to housekeeping.24x7 restaurant is always ready to feed you when you are hungry. Just a 5 min walk to the beautiful candolim beach which still maintains the silent beauty with good family crowd coming to the beach and not over crowded like calangute. Travellers who like to explore Goa can hire 2 or 4 wheeler just outside the hotel. A perfect place to laze and enjoy the weekend.

Very nice Good location Costly food though (bit on costly side) enough car parking good swimming pool good morning complimentary breakfast - Plus point - our basic room was upgraded to a superior one having jacuzzi bath. So the ambiance, room facility got improved. This is really a good point on their behalf. I recommend this to all. Candolim beach is too near and one of the best beach among all others in GOAAAAA..... Will visit very soon some day here :)

Resort is situated at a perfect location . Just 5 mins from the beach. Just about 5-10 minutes walk to the main road of Candolim beach . Food at the resort is awesome to say the least . There are other options around as well. One may try Konkan Kinara which is about 5 minutes from the resort for proper Goan food . The staff at Sea Mist is the most responsive and courteous that I have ever come across . We had a 1 year old toddler and whenever needed ,they sterilised the milk and water bottles for the baby . Milk is available as well whenever required . For those who enjoy watching TV , they have Taka Sky with HD channels which is just fantastic . We had a great time in the pool as well . The pool is cleaned everyday at 6 am . In case it is not , request the reception and they would be at it or atleast confirm with the cleaner if it has been cleaned or not . We were a family of 8 and 1 toddler and all of us enjoyed thoroughly . Fantastic resort . Definitely would stay here again whenever I happen to come to Candolim .

Excellent location to enjoy the beach/village walks in the early morning, do business in Mapusa during the day and enjoy the beach again in the evening. Housekeeping and food is very good. Disappointed that I was not given a room with a view of the countryside, which is what my wife requested for me. Also the taxi service from the people outside the hotel is very poor. The doormen should not recommend them to customers. They should have phone numbers of reliable local taxi drivers. My wife and I come to Candolim most years and usually stay at the neighbouring County Inn and Suites. I came on my own this year and stayed att he Fortune Select because my wife's mother, brother and sister from Travelpack were staying at he Fortune Select. We shall consider both hotels when booking our next trip.

My stay at Golden Tulip Goa, was wonderful. Great value for money. The hotel was clean, modern, and all round comfortable stay. The breakfast variety was fabulous, and was different every day.Kudo's to the staff that were friendly and helpful to enlighten us around the sight-seeing in North Goa. Especially: Gayathri. I was there during the taxi strike, and was happy to be around Candolim as well as the hotel for the 2 days till the strike was over. The beach was just 2km away from the hotel. Room for improvement: Maybe up the room price abit, but have free Wifi, especially in common areas. As relayed to the manager, the Spa needs alittle work regarding their techniques. I used this once, but found it was better at Spa centres close to the hotel. Thanks Golden Tulip Goa for an amazing stay and look forward to visiting you again.

Customer friendly staff, clean, great location, great food - what all can one ask for? Lemon Tree Amarante is one of the most suitably located property in Candolim. Beach is a few distance away and property does not have private beach area, but that in no way stand in between a great vacation. Some of the rooms of the property are under renovation or are soon to be renovated. So chances are your room may have moisture and some smell. Hotel staff is very cooperative and on request, they do everything possible to make your stay memorable. Apart from cleanliness, the other best thing is breakfast IS SERVED TILL 12 NOON..... Freedom from getting up early on Goa vacation. Food has wide variety, and not even a single meal item was disappointing. I am sure you will end up over stuffing yourself. As always, Lemon Tree makes sure you go back home fully refresh and rejuvenated.

there are many positives here. i was given a quiet room on the edge overlooking the foliage between the beach and the hotel, which i was happy about. the room was cleaned daily, decent size balcony, modern facilities and the very helpful staff made it a comfortable stay for me. most of the guests are older or with families, so if you're looking for a stag party location, i wouldn't recommend it. but i'm in my early 30s, was travelling solo and i had no problem with it. the fact that candolim beach is a mere 3 minute walk is an absolute bonus. couple of tips. if you want to be near the pool, then by all means ask for a room there, but it does get noisy in the evenings with daily evening shows. so i would recommend you ask for a room on the edges of the hotel at the back. once a year, around 26/27th december, sunburn festival comes to candolim beach. around 40,000 party goers visit it over 2 days and the area gets very busy, so avoid theese dates (unless of course you want to be near the festival). if i had to be picky, i would say that it's not the most peaceful hotel with a lot of ambiance, but i really didn't have any problems and enjoyed my stay. apart from that, the staff were very helpful too so i'd recommend this hotel.

I did like this place immensely and will recommend this place to all people. You can walk to the candolim beach from this place and spend all day splashing in the beach. About the hotel itself the rooms are big and roomy. Although the construction is a bit old and it shows, there comfortable rooms. I will come back to this place again and again as I like the proximity to the beach. Also, worth mentioning are thier breakfasts, there are total value for money and I think one of the better breakfasts I had in goa. The spread is huge and filling, and tastes good too. Feels like nice homely resort, there was nothing there that put me off. In all recommended.

It is about 200 meters from the main road, but still quite close to the Candolim beach. Breakfast had limited choice, but whatever was available was of good quality and taste. The Studio AC rooms were very good with a pool facing balcony. The staff was also very friendly especially a guy called Alwin. The property is also very well maintained. Overall a very pleasant stay and best value for money.

In short nice location little inside but not far from market and beach. Stayed in Delux rooms. Better to book pool facing rooms. Rooms and wash rooms are clean. Good spread in breakfast. Items, if not on buffet are also provide if you give a prior notice to the staff. Small pool for kids. The pool is little smaller for adults. The best part of the hotel is that they have an excellent staff always helpful. Want to specially mention Shenya from front office and Debojeet, F&B manager. The best person was Hari, Housekeep manager who always available on call for any assistance. Overall I would say that the stay was a memorable one. Would certainly like to refer to my friends and family members. Will stay at the same property on my next visit.

My stay @ the ACACIA GOA RESORT met my expectations and more. Even though there was a taxi strike, the airport staff arranged for someone to pick me up @ the airport (I had to call the hotel since they didn't have my contact details BUT that wasn't a problem). My room was cleaned daily, ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The pool, for my morning swim was good and clean. I walked to the beach which was not more than 5 mins away everyday.....ACACIA did not have any reviews when I booked BUT I took a chance - no regrets...Thumbs up to ACACIA's management and staff.

One of the best resort in Candolim,Goa. Had a very great experience. All of the staff specially Shikha & Shawn from front desk and Pooja from the palm, Restaurant were very friendly & did their job very well. At the time of arrival I was welcomed with Proper India customs like Teekaa & welcome drink along with snacks was also offered. Later on they upgraded my room to Business Class. The resort is very welcoming for the kids also,they welcome them with the toys. It is located on the main Candolim Road and the beach is just 5-10 mins walk away. Lots of Multi-cuisine restaurants, Hookah parlour, Dress shops, Bike-Car rental shops are available close to resort. Over all the experience was fantastic.

More I say less it will be to describe our experience (group of four friends). It is comparatively small hotel with 21 rooms only but not less than any big five star hotel. Rooms are studded with all amenities and requirements from good size beds, new looks of rooms, sitting area with couch and LCD, new style bathrooms and good quality toiletries. Look of Hotel takes your heart the moment you enter the hotel and see green colour swimming pool or hamaam beautified with plants and pottery and sitting arrangement, move further and you see their bar cum lounge perfectly built for travellers, then comes the breath taking swimming pool and deck where they serve delicious food with love and courtesy. Never experienced the level of services they provide with politeness and genuine zeal to serve you better and take care of you like guest of their home. It is walkable distance from LPK Waterfront... the most happenening night club of Goa and walkable distance to Nerul river. Soothing music playing always and house keeping service was amazing amid high booking in hotel. I may go out of words or thoughts but can't explain the fantastic and memorable experience we had at this place. Will surely visit this hotel again and would recommend this hotel to all travellers.

overall experience was very good at the hotel. this is relatively new property (<2 yrs) located less than 500 mts from taj aguada. it has direct access to candolim beach, which is a big plus. the rooms are comfortable and well maintained. however, there were very few recreational activities available apart from the swimming pool and spa. overall rating: value for money.

Rooms are neat and clean, spacious as well. Complimentary Breakfast is good which includes south Indian as well as North Indian Varities. However, the pool and pool side is small and also no parking for outside vehicles. Parking can be done outside. Overall our stay at De'Alturas was very good and I recommend other travelers to opt for De'Alturas. It is near to candolim beach and all other North Goa beaches are within the raius of 6-7 km

It was really a wonderful stay..beach at your doorstep...clean rooms...located at most happening road..CANDOLIM....everything was within reach...you can hire bikes..buy beer...otherstuff ...best food joints ...at just 50 mtrs..from the resort...near to AGUDA FORT N JAIL...TAJ AND KINGFISHER VILLA...2 KMS AWAY FROM CALANGUTE N BAGGA....LOCATION VISE I GIVE 100 OUT OF 100 to the resort...Resort was safely surrounded....timely n daily breakfast...over all it was great....and i enjoyed the stay.....

We really enjoyed our stay at Sukhmantra. While the hotel is brand new and there is still some construction going on, we were in no way inconvenienced. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff went out of their way to make sure that we were comfortable. The bathrooms were also spacious with all the necessary amenities, good shower pressure etc... The manager and the owner were also very friendly and eager to assist us in any way possible. The hotel is conveniently located in Candolim which is close to Candolim beach and Fort Augoda. Calangute was only a short ride away (about 5km) and there is a plethora of restaurants and other tourist attractions in the area. The hotel is in a relatively quiet neighborhood but is not too far from the main road. This made it relatively easy for us to escape the hustle and bustle if we just felt like spending a laid back afternoon in our room or by the pool.

This hotel has been a wonderful find, located almost on Sunnyside Beach ikn Candolim. The staff at the hotel are truly wonderful and will do everything to respond to queries and help guests. The restaurant, located directly on the beach, serves meals and drinks. Breakfasts are very limited in choice and very disappointing, as are other meals. However, there qare so many restaurant alternatives within the area that is no great issue. I will definitely return in future !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Highland Beach Resort used to be a very good 3 star hotel. But it is now too big. If you are on the periphery you are too far away to appreciate what the resort has to offer. Both a loss to the resort and a loss to the staff who try their best. I was there as a visitor with my eldest son who last visited Candolim and the resort in 2004. I doubt I will go back to the resort again.

I went there with my husband and 3 yr old son. We loved the suite room (you should insist on a pool view room, preferably on upper floors). The swimming pools for adults and children were cleaned daily and there is always a lifeguard / security by the pool. Buffet breakfast menu is vast and very tasty. The breakfast buffet lounge has great ambience. Room service was very quick and efficient. There are facilities like laundry, great spa and gym too. The walk to Candolim Beach is just 5 mins from the resort gardens. Candolim beach is very beautiful and almost secluded during early mornings and some evenings. The resort itself is about 5 km from Calangute and is well connected by local buses. We travelled by these local buses all the time. You have to walk for 10 mins on foot from the resort to main road to catch the bus. It might be difficult with kids. However just outside the resort you can hire taxis or bikes. For dining we didn't prefer this restaurant as the menu looks expensive. The restaurant menu card in the hotel rooms do not have cheaper items mentioned, but these are available if you go in person to the restaurant. Food taste is very good. I would recommend this to any family who are travelling to North Goa, and don't want to stay in crowded areas.

Hi, Just returned from a great two weeks at Lui Beach Hotel. First the cons, Rooms need more sockets! we struggled to get all devices charged all the time, Second, a kettle is badly needed in the rooms. I am an early riser and struggled waiting until 0730 for the first brew of the day. These, however, are minor issues in the grand scheme of things. The hotel is located at the "quieter" Sinquerim end of Candolim and it is a wonderful 4 minute walk to the beach, through Mango tress, banana and of course coconut palms. The wildlife is varied on the walk down there with beautiful large butterflies, vivid green and blue bee eater and Benglise finches in abundance, we were also lucky enough to spot flocks of parakeets on a couple of occasions.(The ride down to other Candolim beaches was through a packed "beech rd" and then onto a tin of sardine like beach). I honestly wish I did not have to leave. 1265 Crescent Villa is a tranquil haven in Candolim. Customer service is exceptional, the owners are friendly, welcoming and full of local travel advice. The cleaning staff they hire are also exceptional. The rooms are tastefully decorated to the point of being luxurious, they are clean and a welcome haven at the end of a long day of sightseeing or water sports. I rate 1265 Crescent Villa a 10.

Ahilya by the Sea is an amazing stay in Goa. The food was varied and reasonably priced. Our room was extremely comfortable right next to the sea. If you do not like the sound of crashing waves bring ear plugs. The staff were exceptional with Smitta running a very smooth ship. Here is a list of small things that are big things in a travellers mind...free laundry once a day, happy hour at 7pm, two pools with goggles and sunscreen, beautiful sunsets and a full moon, a boho variety of antiques and furniture., day activities and car booked with no fuss.
