Where to stay in Cameron Highlands
Cameron Highlands hotels & accommodations

It was my first time in Cameron Highlands and this hotel was a good choice. The executive room was perfect. Breakfast was great. I saved a ton of money on travel by being patient and waiting for the local bus (Regal Bus Company - an orange coloured bus). One tip I got from the driver was that the bus company doesn't work on weekends due to the intense traffic caused ...

Hotel is new. Location is near to many halal eateries. We book 2 bedrooms suite and it is spacious. The hotel has a playground, which is not a common sight for hotel in Cameron Highlands. My kids enjoyed playing at the playground. The only setback I face during my stay is the delay in providing fresh towel on 2nd day. Had to call around 6pm to request for fresh towel...

Nice new hotel in Cameron Highlands. Just in front of entrance to Sungai Palas Boh Teh from main road. 5-10 mins walking distance to Kea Farm. Just open 3 months during our stay in October. When raining, you no longer need to turn on the fan as it already damn cold there. Always choose the view to the valley, it is a nice view.

So far, the hotel is comfortable, clean and the price is acceptable, especially I love the breakfast so much.Car park is enough also.It located near Tanah Rata , shops and restaurant are just in walking distance. If you need a relaxing and comfortable staying during your trip to Cameron Highland , I would strongly recommend you to choose this hotel. Besides , I m...

Arriving at the hotel immediately makes you feel like you've stepped into a little piece of England in Cameron Highlands. We were served with a welcome drink of coffee or tea while we checked-in. Stayed in the deluxe room which was spacious with nice decor, water heater worked just fine, relaxing, quiet and comfy. Everything was perfect except, there is only one window...

This is my favourite go to resort in Cameron Highlands. It has been a ritual for my wife and I to come here twice yearly. Is there anything that I would care to complain about the place? None that is too serious to dampen my stay. If shove come to push-the breakfast spread has dipped slightly in quality lately. I miss the various blocks of cheese that I used to enjo...

2 nights stay at Heritage hotel was awesome. most of the hotels in Cameron Highlands (CH) are not having sufficient parking lot. So you not to worry in this hotel as it has lots of parking lot. Located at a higher place, the surrounding is nice and cozy. We get a Superior room with breakfast included as does not want to trouble to look for breakfast early in the morn...

Easily the best hotel in Cameron now.. awesome location.. try to get the room on the ground floor, same level as the reception so you'll have the garden with tables and swings at your doorstep! Dont worry about the room comes with no air-cond or fan.. you wont need them! Cameron Highlands was experiencing water shortage when we were there, but the hotel didnt seem to ...

Had a great stay in Cameron Highlands thanks to the place that I was staying. It is located strategically near a night market that sells all the souvenirs and merchandise that you should get from Cameron Highlands. Parking could be a little bit of a hassle if you got there late. But overall, it is a good location to stay especially if you are coming with a big family.

The staff was incredibly accommodating and helpful. They helped us with navigating, lifts and all our travel questions. We absolutely loved our stay and hope to return. Our only comments would be the sheets could have been cleaner (we found hair in them), and we werent sure if breakfast was provided and it was never really explained properly although we assumed the toa...

I was in Cameron Highlands for five days for rest and relax. I didn't want to drive too much for food and things. This hotel is centrally located in Brichang, surrounded by many restaurants of various cuisines, convenient shops and a small morning market. Many local places of interests are just at driving distant. Also another reason why I chose this hotel is because t...

It is great for anyone who are looking for a place that centrally located in Cameron Highland. You can travel by foot from the hotel to night market to buy various of things. You can find food very easily because the hotel is near with restaurants, KFC and etc. I would suggest to go here on weekdays because on weekend the car park is limited. You also can buy a travel ...

This is my second stay at Double Stars. Love it for the budget price, cleanliness and location. This time we got a windowless room with fan, which can be pretty stuffy albeit the cool air in Cameron Highlands. Room is small, perhaps best suited for a single traveler rather than two, but it was comfortable nonetheless. Will come again soon.

Parkland Apartment at Cameron, close to tanah rata, it is very convenience to access store like food, glossary and etc. It is the biggest town in Cameron Highlands and contains the most number of facilities and amenities, including the district council with banks and ATMs, and the main hospital in Cameron Highlands. Having a taxi station and a bus station makes it easy...

Excellent location, walking distance to Brinchang night market and most happening location in Cameron Highland. Besides, if you come from Tanah Rata, this hotel is right before the heavy traffic location with shortcut (based on google map) so that you will not be trapped in traffic. Improvement needed on the breakfast. :)

Room: Spacious and cleaned, two king beds with comfy mattress and pillow (they provided 3 pillows for each bed), TV with basic channels (TV1,TV2, astro supersport & movie), no ceiling fan but I think no problem at all, two big wardrobes, a makeup table and a very big shoe cabinet. Bathroom: Very spacious and cleaned, water heater worked very well, water pressure was go...

This is our second stay at this hotel. We got a triple room on second floor. Love the balcony and view. The room is clean as usual, but the water heater switch and shower drain are a bit problematic. It's slightly far from the shops and night market, but if you enjoy walking in the cool weather, it's not a big deal. The parking space available outside the building and ...

1. Walking distance to night market 2. Well maintained for 2 years budget hotel 3. Nice design and spacious 4. Water heater function well (most water heater in Cameron Highland hotel are not working properly) 5. Plenty free parking 6. Water dispenser provided in common area and place for chit chat (unlike many hotel rather shrink down room size and no common area ju...

Brand new three-storey guesthouse. Located on top of a hill, very quiet, walking distance (5min) to town. Nice terrasse outside with tables and chairs Room was big, bright (2windows and a balcony), very clean. Bed was comfy. Bathroom is okay, gets messy when you shower as water goes all over the place. No soap/shampoo provided. No breakfast, but tea and coff...

we arrived earlier than we were supposed to at noon and were told we could only check in at 3pm. we politely asked for them to arrange for us to have the rooms located closer to each other and they helped us check and got us on the same floor, and while they were at it, they checked us in earlier as the rooms were already available. how about that! the hotel is qui...

PROS- 1. New Building 2. Spacious Apartment 3. Staff very kind giving us extra mattress & blanket. CONS- 1. Floor no carpeting. So very chill to step since it is in Cameron Highland. 2. Nice covered parking but very quiet & a bit creepy. 3. Nothing special surrounding if u go on weekday; its only live on Friday to Sunday only because of Pasar Malam!

Iris resort is beyond our expectation. We book a two bedroom apartment and it was very spacious with all the basic necessities and very clean n well maintained. It was just beside Ye ole smoke house and verry near to the newly located night market.it is also near to tanah rata town.i have been to cameron highland more than 5 times and this is the resort that i really am ...

Well to begin with, of course its a good place for me to come again for my 2nd time staying here. Eventhough the deco and ambience felt old school or retro, it doesnt affect the cozyness at all. Im happy & enjoying the stay here with a great price ! Definitely will come again. Plus, dont forget to visit Raju Strawberry farm, the best strawberry in Cameron Highland

Snooze Hotel is the best hotel that I ever stay in Cameron Highlands. I had went to cameron highlands for 5 times and this is the best and cheaper hotel that I stayed. The hotel location is at Brinchang, just a few walks from KFC, security is good (need assess card to enter hotel), just it dont have lift and a bit difficult for elder people. However, once u step in, th...
Cheap places to stay in Cameron Highlands

The sign of the hotel is not that visible from the entrance so you need to ask around to find it but the place was good for a short 2-day stay. Bring your own towels and soap as those are not provided. Luckily the temperature in Cameron Highlands is much cooler since there is no AC. Only a tiny little fan in the corner that does not rotate. It is close to the main stre...

Excellent experience! The most standout part of this hostel for me was the staff. I mentioned prior that I'm very sensitive to stuffy rooms and if possible, to please give me a well ventilated room. Upon arrival I was given an icy cold room. Amazing. In general, everyone working was so eager to help out guests in any way possible. It made the environment super fun. Th...

+ I ve been 2 day at here and I totally recommend anyone who want to stay hostel in Cameron Highland. It was best located in area which is nearest Bus station and trails trekking. + 5 stars for staff services , Laundry is supper cheap deal (5MYR) + warm Bath is good at Bathroom. - these only thing about Address name I was not comfortable. This hotel is located at the town of Tanah Rata, the city center of Cameron Highlands. Grocery shops are available nearby. Food is everywhere. Very good location indeed. If you need to go around Cameron Highlands, ask for the tour guide downstairs. Hotel staff (especially the old Indian uncle as receptionist) is very friendly and welcoming. He even helped us to solve ...

Cameron Highlands has a new regulation on parking. You would need to get parking coupons and they are to be used every day, from 8-6pm so I suggest you leave a coupon or two for the next day beforehand in your car just to be safe (in case if you don't wake up early to put in a fresh coupon for the day). My friends stayed in Silverstar Hotel across the street and they...

I had a double room which was basic but clean and all I needed for a few days. They provided towels, the ensuite bathroom was a wet room with the shower over the toilet. There was a small balcony looking over an alley but the door left half an inch gap at the bottom when closed, even though I was concerned with bugs it didn't actually cause any problems. For the price...

We booked a family dorm for 5 pax with only 210RM (~50 USD). It is a reasonable cost for staying at Cameron Highlands. The room is clean. The host is very friendly and nice. We all love their cute childrens (Mia and Adam). We are really happy and satisfied to stay here. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone for staying when traveling at Cameon Highlands.

I travelled with my elderly mother for the first time to Cameron highlands and had originally booked twin shared bath bedroom thinking that would be enough and price was on budget too. After looking over the room I realised it was too small for our stay and luggage. We asked for double bed attached toilet upgrade and Yemin who were checking us in kindly showed availabl...

De Native Guesthouse is a quiet, beautiful place surrounded by nature. The owner is a really nice person and helps whenever you have a problem. Sometimes he cooks delicious meals and drinks a few beers at a campfire with all of his guests. There are five dogs, they are very cute and you can play with them. We slept in one of the comfortable chalets with a big bathroom...

The Cameron Highlands aren't the cheapest place in Malaysia to stay, but this hotel is really good value for money in comparison to some other places we looked at. It's small and quaint, we had the double room with private bathroom and it was a good size with a window to outside (I think the shared bathroom rooms have a window into the hallway). The shower was good pr...

Parking could be a little bit of a hassle if you got there late. But overall, it is a good location to stay especially if you are coming with a big family.

The Apartment was very clean and neat. There is a play area for kids. I am very happy and lucky the owner upgraded my apartment which is more bigger than what have i booked. Everything was clean but they did not provide tissue and towels so better bring your own towels and tissue. The balcony is quite dirt with dusk maybe because of the raining season. But overall, I ...

If what you're looking for is a cheap, clean place to stay while in Cameron Highlands, Hillview Inn offers a value proposition that is hard to beat. Midway between a hostel and motel, it's extremely basic but clean and pleasant. Nothing much in the way of facilities but where it scores over almost every other hotel in Cameron Highlands is the comprehensive tour and ...

We enjoyed our stay at this guest house, despite the mold that comes with an old place in a humid environment. However, at the request of the owner we are including information about something that happened during our time in Tanah Rata. While hiking on Trail 4 between Century Pines Resort and the Chimp Cameron Highlands Montane Park we were both sexually assaulted b...

Not many family suite can be found among the hotel in Cameron but Hotel Pop Ash is one of the very few. It's located in a very strategic place, walking distance to the Brinchang Night Market. The receptionist is from KL not local and little knowledge of the Place of Interest in Cameron. Hopefully she will be more knowledgeable after a longer stay and able to recommend...

This place is neat and clean, centrally located and apparently recently renovated. The rooms are not very big, but the bathrooms are quite voluminous. Wifi works well, but only 4 channels on TV. There is no mosquito screen on the windows and no other ventilation in the rooms, so either the room gets very stuffy or you spend the night battling with mosquitoes, which is...

I need a transit accommodation since I had to go to Kelantan the next day, so Cameron Highlands is the place. The staffs are okay but I had to really look for a parking since it is by the road side and people tend to double park. Really had a hard time sleeping since what ever happens on the streets can be easily be heard, even what ever my neighbours is doing.

Although we didnt spend a lot of time in the hotel, the time we spent there was a pleasant one. The only negative point about the room was that there was a little bit of damp feeling and smell as there was no window for our room open to the exterior. Anyway, it was not a big problem and it should be expected considering the climate in Cameron Highlands.

The location of the hotel is very strategic. It is at the center of Cameron Highland. It is surrounded with whole lot of restaurants, shops and a lot more. You can even walk to these places. They have their own restaurant located downstairs which you can place an order and request them to be delivered to your room as well.

pro : kebersihan ok & memuaskan. berdekatan dgn kedai mkn, atm, pam minyak & tempat menarik di cameron highlands.. kontra: lif kecil hanye muat 2-3 orang sahaja.bila hari weekends ramai check in, internet access jadi slow sangat.kami check in hari jumaat, masa tu internet laju lagi..parking limited sbb hotel area shop lots..sape cepat, dapat la parking..kihkih.. ape pun be...

The villa very nice and beautiful. I booked deluxe room with balcony, santai makan strawberry sambil tengok view cameron highland. This villa near to night market & ada strawberry farm nearby...jln kaki pun sampai. Villa cantik, bersih & penyambut tetamu pun mesra👏👏👏

- Spacious accommodation, with 6 rooms and 8 bathrooms - All rooms have attached bathroom, thus it's like your own hotel room - The accommodation has a simple but very nice furnishings - The area is gated and guarded, thus we felt super secured and safe - The accommodation is super clean when we checked in - Location is in Tanah Rata's town, thus super convenient to go...

+++ A lovely house with huge amount of space. Clean floors, bathrooms and consistently coloured linen. Spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms (except for ground floor bedrooms). Well equipped kitchen with two separate dining areas. One is indoors and the other one is a long wooden table outdoors which is absolutely lovely for chats and group meals. There is a little...

The apartment was well maintained and the cleanliness was top 5 stars but the facilities should be improvise especially the curtains. The management should install curtains which fully covered the windows and sliding door not only covered for 3/4 of it. The staff ,ms shanti was very helpful especially during check in/out.

Family vaction with 6adults and 1 infant and 2kids. It is very comfortable house, and fully equip with all the kitchens utensils. No hot water issue at all like what ive been reading in others review. Location is good and strategic. Ground floor are mostly businesses. There are a few grocery stores make it easy to get the necessities. Getting meals are easy. Let’s get straight into the point, this place is fantastic, valued for money, good location, great accommodation, good host, and the only thing missing in my opinion, maybe a personal butler! Before I even arrive, the host have readily provided direction and instruction which is good for those that’s not familiar with the area, and the host were generous enough to a...

We appreciate our kind hosts, Mr and Mrs Chau, who were able to accommodate our checking in and checking out times nicely. The apartment was very clean. Wifi and cable TV were a great bonus and the hot water worked wonderfully. Extra pillows and blankets were provided. A lovely place to stay for a group of 4 to 6 people

Great location at tanah rata...very responsive and helpful host...place and facilities are quite new..i .only have few complaints...2 of the 5 towels provided are dirty with stains on it...dusty bed divan...and also a faulty hairdryer that worked for 5seconds haha...will be back if all these minor complaints are dealt with.

The apartment was clean & valued for money. It's located just next to the Smokehouse. We stay there for 2 nights to celebrate my nephew's birthday. The kitchenette was provided & in good condition. There is even a big size rice cooker & ideal for simple steamboat. According to a women who is helping for our check in there is few units of Teaz Apartment managed by same ...

Pro: place is big enough to accommodate a family of 12. Definitely a place to spend time together. Housekeeper, Ah Lin,was most helpful and knowledgeable. All of us had a wonderful time together. Con: water was never hot enough for a shower for 12 people.

Great location, in the city centre near from the place of attraction and also very convenient because nearby having cafe, pizza, starbucks, restaurant, and wet market. Inside the aprtment are very clean and ready with everything like free wifi, cable TV channel, electrical pot for steamboat, fridge, oven and kitchen tool. Luxury hotels in Cameron Highlands

The hotel staffs is very friendly, and our room was very comfy and clean. View from terrace restaurant is pleasant, it is nice to have afternoon tea there. Definitely one of the best hotel in cameron highlands. The only downside is there are lots of mosquitos on the hotel's garden ( but not in the room).

stayed with 8 adults and 2 kids. pros: nice location.check in was easy.staff attended to our complaints promptly. adequate bed provided.free wifi. cons: kitchen equipment outdated. cups broken and some not clean. no cooking facilities. toilet door was faulty and one family member stucked inside. light burned out at the same toilet at middle of the night. living room f...

We travel in family with kids and baby, elderly and middle age adults. All needed stuffs were prepared in the homestay and make life so much easier. This is the first homestay that hit our expectations of 100 marks. I will definitely recommend to friends and family to book this homestay.

I was at cameron highland for a holiday with family. to accomodate at the vastana was a superb and splendid experience, the house deco was great, the cleanliness was awesome and the environment and location of the apartment was phenomenal and comvenience. check in and check out was easy and without hassle. worth the money spend. very recomended and will deffinetely ret...

Upon entering the house look neat, tidy and clean. The room looks decent yet comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped which is super great because we did our cooking there with the fresh veges brought from the night market. The house is spacious enough for our family party of 6. We had a great time there and we hope others will too!

nice weather. butterly garden is most suitable for kids . they can see a lot different type of insects .
It was a nice trip. I went there with my mum for a 2-day trip. We had fun buying fresh vegetables like daikon, strawberry etc.
Would be a good short getaway, pretty relaxing. There might be not a lot of nightlife and entertainment, would be boring yet quiet and peaceful.
Being visit many time to Cameron Highlands, we miss the old time Cameron Highlands, reason being it over develop with resident & commercial building, illegal farming.
A great place to relax from your daily life. Get close to nature and feel the natural and fresh air from the mountain
i have been cameron hightlands in about 8 years ago, during that time, i feel really relaxing at cameron highland.
A good place for relax after a busy working life. A place that we can actually close to nature and relax our mind.
Don't go during weekend or festive seasons. It's only one way route so the traffic is quite bad. The jam can lasted for almost or more than an hour.
Good and nice to go during off peak seasons. The traffic during peak season was too packed!! Wasted a lot of time in the car!
Try to avoid visit at peak season to avoid heavy traffic jam and less car park. tea house is a good leisure place strawberries farm is a very good place to visit
Remember this is highland but beach/island. Enjoy more fresh veg than meat. Cold weather at night enjoy your beers/wine or ice-cream with friends and family.
Used to be a nice place for escaping the lowland heat in Malaysia however due to the influx of tourist, it has become too congested.
Its a good place to travel with your partner but don't go during peak hours because for each attraction to parking is very limited and the traffic quite bad.
for those who want peace, calm and fresh air, back to nature activities at tea plantation centre with young children.
Nice place to get relex in a short weekend break. it is not so far away if travel from Kuala Lumpur. one bad thing is internet and phone connection is not so good.
the place to see the beautiful nature of Flowers garden, cactus garden, strawberry garden, and the most beautiful part is having a tea with surround of Tea Plantation.
Avoid school holidays. Plan well before visiting places of attractions because it is not easy to make u-turns while on the road.
Weather is nice and you get to pick your own strawberry. Boh Tea Estate at Sungai Palas is a nice place to visit too.
cooling weather, no need to on the in-car air conditioner. steamboat in Brinchang is a must have and must eat.
cameron highland should have more unique resort, with the nice environment, people can enjoy & relax, stay away from busy world.
Tanah Ratah and Brinchang should have interconnecting free transport so that tourist or local visitors can visit each other for more choice of food and other attractions.
Great change from the staid, warm and humid cities. Visit during the colder months (Nov-Feb) if you want fresh air, but dry months (May-Aug) if you are looking for outdoor activities.
If you are driving up to Cameron Highlands, I would recommend the using the Ipoh-Cameron road, rather than the Ringlet-Cameron road.
A good place for family gathering.....suggest to stay at least two nights in order to enjoy the locations in Cameron Highlands
I always bring my family to Cameron Highlands every year since the past six years. We love the panoramic view, the air, and the attractions.
Relax, rewind and enjoy the cooling weather and green scenery of Cameron Highland. A very nice place to have a couple of cold beers at night or hot drink at night while enjoying to cooling weather at night.
Would come here for scones and photo session at the tea plantation whenever i bring different groups of family members and friends up here.
Hill site area with lots of flowers and vegetables. Getting crowded and too commercialised. Still some nice places to visit.
Nice place to visit especially on non-holiday season. Carry your flu and fever medicines as this place gets very cold when its raining.
Tanah Tinggi Cameron sudah menjadi kawasan yang penuh dengan tourists dan jalan-jalan penuh sesak dengan kenderaan pada penghujung minggu.
