"the hotel is huge, a nice pool though the weather was a bit cold and not pool appropriate, the breakfast was ok, we tried of the restaurants in the hotel and both pretty good, the upstairs mexican place a nice place to have beer and the indian restaurant good. location wise: just a note that though it seems that it's very far from the real mumbai and there is no little shops or little restaurants around and just other hotels, you need to walk the nehru street pass the crossroads and you are in the middle of crazy mumbai!!! so no worries about that. as it's north mumbai, there are auto rickshaws right there and that's good too. "The name Niranta Airport Transit hotel - inside Intl airport suggests that it is easy to access as a transit passenger. However, Jet Airways staff in both London and Mumbai Transit told me that I would have to have a visa to access the hotel. I was unable to access the hotel because it would appear that people I spoke to did not realise that the hotel was accessible from Transit without a visa. This should be easy for you to rectify. I hope that you will consider what I have told you and for future custom address this issue. I would like to stay with you next time I transit through Mumbai but I would like by email the process and protocol for this to happen. Please ensure that my booking fee is refunded as promised by your staff supervisor who I spoke to after getting through immigration and into the transit lounge. I had to pay extra for the privilege of using an airport lounge for sleep and rest, after paying for the Niranta hotel.I would have preferred to stay with Niranta having booked it. "

"This is a great hotel overall! The staff and service are just top notch, 5-star quality. Only reason I've taken down 1 star in my rating is for the 1 issue we had daily during our stay ..breakfast! I gets busy during breakfast and, with young kids we weren't super happy with being bounced around from one breakfast place to another. This happened to us consistently throughout our 3 night stay. We stayed on the club floor and, club lounge was ok but, we preferred the buffet style setup on the restaurants on first floor as with little kids we needed more choices which were not available in the club lounge floor. Also, I've stayed at other hotels in Mumbai and I think the quality of food, temperature etc. leaves some room for improvement. Other than this, we loved this hotel, it's location, amenities and courteous staff. "

"The hotel had its own compound separated by quiet boundaries. The reception desk was aristocratic and fine. The day brought the first sunbeams through the privately open window and after the sundown myriad stars were gyrating in the darkness over the pulsating ocean. I was gradually giving myself up in a tranquility that was far away from the dynamic Mumbai. It was reflective of the core of India : unending and independent. I was amid an eternal civilization. I was being beckoned to it the night I was leaving the hotel premises."

"Having done the Mumbai hotel tour, i.e. pretty much stayed in all the luxury hotels down from Nariman Point up to the airport area, I can say that this will be my permanent "go-to" hotel. Location: Bandra, overlooking the ocean. Relatvely quiet Mumbai area which allows one to take a morning seaside jog. Proliferation of restaurants in the area is also another plus. You can easily access South Bombay via the sea link so it's ideally situated, in my opinion. Ambiance: Busy hotel but maintains a certain peacefulness unlike other very "touristy" hotels. Simple, yet elegant. Cozy and warm--just like how I like my holidays. Staff Performance: Notch above the rest. No one can contest the genuineness and attentiveness of Taj Lands End's employees. My hotel car actually got reared on my way to the hotel from the airport and the staff were all over me to ensure I was ok as soon as I arrived at the hotel. I must also mention that this is the same hotel where I lost a luxury watch only to have it returned to me by the hotel maintenance staff. Just pure genius."

"Trident Nariman Point Mumbai Hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations. They have the best customer service I have ever experienced in my travels. I had to check-in earlier than the usual check-in time because of my flight schedule and because I had to wait a bit for check-in, hotel reception was kind enough to give me complimentary wifi services as well as free lunch buffet! Aside from that, all hotel staff were very courteous and attentive to guests' needs. You'll really feel like a VIP in every corner of the hotel. Also, the hotel's breakfast buffet has a very good selection of food. When staying in Mumbai, Trident Nariman Point Hotel will truly offer the best hotel experience you could ever ask for =)"
