Tiruchirappalli hotels & places to stay

we found this hotel on agoda and have no regret. for the 1st time we have stayed at a modern hotel located right infront of the bus stand. location and facilities are awesome. rooms floors are wooden flooring and facilities in the room are awesome. breakfast is the best i have tried in india. besides the normal indian bfast, they also have toast, sanwiches and egg counter. if there is one room for improvement, i would suggest a shower curtain to separate the shower and toilet area as it can get wet during shower. otherwise would definately stay here

+ Food was good + Room space was quite big + Quit room * Hotel is located in busy area, but the room provided to us was on the 3rd floor and our room window was facing a big wall(no city view) so the room was quit. + Shower * Their shower's water pressure was very good + Helpful Staff * Only sometimes you need to call them 2 or 3 times on the same request. But its understandable. They gives their best most of the time + Cleanliness * Room and bathroom is very clean..and the cleaner is very good. they do their best too. There is no negative points. Hotel worth the money. Hopefully the hotel maintains their hotel well. Will definitely stay here for my next visit.

I would say one of the best hotel ever stayed even though its hidden little inside, would highly recommend those looking for hygiene clean and quite atmosphere. Staff is very much helpful and food is something you should enjoy. Im a very particular when comes to hotel..in this case will would rate highest. thanks to aravind at reception keep up the good work. Hope the hotel keep and maintain the quality all the time... As much as I remember, hotel Femina is one of the oldest hotels in Tiruchirappalli. I have stayed here before in the 1990s. At that time my eldest son was a student and boarder at the famous Campion school which is also in Tiruchirappalli. On my recent stay, I was very impressed that the hotel still maintains excellent standards of hospitality towards their customers. I enjoyed my stay here in the friendly atmosphere of the hotel staff. Very good staff at every level and one can notice that they have been well trained in customer care. Tiruchirappalli has taken great strides forwards since the 1990s and I was amazed. The hotel has modernized in meeting the new demands of the modern day. Complimentary breakfast had a nice spread and choice of foods. will surely stay at this hotel again when I next visit this city.

Took two rooms here for a week and this was our base from which we left every morning to various parts of South India and returned here by the evening. Wonderful staff and really clean rooms with a great breakfast South Indian spread to start the day. We are vegetarian and the hotel was very comfortable with accomodating our requests. The ground floor has a wonderful Chettinad restaurant who I understand are the owners of this chain, Kannapa. Though known for their non-veg cuisine, the waiters and managers were more than happy to serve us veg food upon request. The hotel staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. As we spent many days there we got to know them a little better and were very happy with their wonderful services. Nice hotel and have recommended it to many people to stay there since.

We booked an executive room but they upgraded us to a villa for no extra charge! Very clean, spacious, and well maintained rooms. The tub in the bathroom is a bit old but everything else works fine. Helpful and friendly staff. The hotel also provides free transportation to the airport, which is just around 10-15 minutes away from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel to those going to Trichy

Pros: Hotel Ramyas is a very good mid-range hotel. The tariff is quite cheap. The service is good. Staff was very courteous. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean. Both were reasonably spacious. The food (dinner) at the vegetarian restaurant below was very good. Breakfast at the roof top restaurant was excellent in both spread and taste. Cons: The hotel is quite far from Srirangam temple and Rock Fort. It is about 20 to 30 min auto ride to Srirangam and about 15 min to the Rock Fort. Although the hotel had a dedicated travel desk, it was not very responsive in car bookings. We had to make multiple calls to book a car to Madurai. It was more of an annoyance than a serious complaint.

during our stay in Trichy the hotel staff were very helpful n cheerful. one day before my departure my mother was passed away in Malaysia . I could not able to contact anyone or anything number to reschedule my air tickets in the middle of night 1pm. there two staff who were there really support and very kind to stay up with me to get the flight agency to get rescheduled. after 3 hrs effort I managed to get the earliest flight to Malaysia. they also booked my transportation to the airport. hat off to these hotel staff who were very kind and helpful. we need these kind of moral support in emergency. TX hotel plaza.

The staff were very receptive and friendly. They made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and tidy. However the only downside was the size of the rooms. It was rather small, especially if an extra bed was required. But other than that, everything else was smooth sailing. The breakfast was simple and very tasty. Mr. J. Stephen made sure all our needs were attended to and even upgraded one of the 2 rooms we booked.

I am a frequent traveller to India. I have stayed in numerous 3 nad 4 star hotels booked by my agent. This time, after seeing the reviews, I decided to book Susee Park myself. I had a pleasant surprise when I checked in.(The friendly Front Office Staff, the hotel itself, and the room) I am more than satisfied. I have decided to stay in Susee Park in all my future travels to Trichy. I would highly recommend this hotel to tourists visiting Trichy

I booked the hotel through Agoda and requested for an early check in due to the arrival of my train from Bangalore at 4am. Surprisingly the hotel staffs was awake to help us carry our heavy luggages and bring it to our room and the receptionist easingly provided the keys to our room. I have contacted the hotel manager, Mr.Ethiraj through email to book a car with driver for our tour of Madurai and Tanjavur which was readily awaiting the next morning. During the morning rush, our short breakfast buffet surely caught our tastebuds wanting for more. We had a pleasant stay for the 3 days we were there. Our airport drop was also managed by the hotel manager Mr.Ethiraj.

I have been coming to this hotel the second time now. But when i tried to check in on the 19th Oct after i made a booking tru Agoda the reception told me that they have not received my reservation .Upon enquiring i found that my booking had been routed tru Booking.com.So i would advice travellers to double check OR make a direct booking tru the hotel. Also beware of room cleaning staff who might pester you for money to drink "Tea"!!!!!!Just report it to the Manager Mr.Neil who took action immediately as in my case.On the whole this is a great hotel located centrally.

MAHARAJ RESIDENCY remember this name as this is best hotel in Thiruchy ! Prices are excellent, I have stayed with my family for 5 days and 4 nights, honestly I am so happy we found this place. I will start from check in- the lobby gave us our room keys!!! all with help of very nice, friendly and professional manager who have great as at the entrance. We felt special from the beginning to the end. Beautiful lobby with coffee and tea all for guests- surly can make you feel like you home. The room was lovely, super clean with comfortable bed and bathroom with shower very clean. Reception was very helpful in directing us to nice places to shop, So we have great day out as well. Very happy with our stay that acually was sad to leave! who checked us out was verry sweet and friendly. Overall I had best stay ever in Thiruchy! and definitely will back there and will recomend this peace of heaven in Thiruchy to everyone!! I would certified as Five star services. Location and price is the best part about this place. One needs to take a small auto/cab ride (2 -3 km)to go to both the Railway Station and Central Bus Stand . We booked a NON A/C twin bedroom - Quite comfortable .Room and Bathroom was clean and provided with a small pack of soap and shampoo. It was a small room . Price was very reasonable ( rs 830(incl of everything ) Breakfast was okay ( a cup of tea or coffee) . Local varieties (idly , sambar , pongal etc) . There is an option for (Bread ,Butter and Jam) . WiFi is free and good enough . Amenities like pool / magazine/ games are not there. Staff was polite and could understand English . Overall this place is good enough for a short stay .

This is an excellent value for money hotel. The staff are courteous and helpful . They kindly helped us with the language barrier with Ola cabs. They were also really great at sorting out our train journey as we were having problems with the app. The hotel is modern, very clean with great shower,a/c etc. The breakfast was in their on site restaurant, south Indian buffet style which worked perfectly well. The only thing to be aware of is taxi drivers appear to have a little difficulty finding it(but a quick call to the hotel resolved that each time)and it's close proximity to a small temple with a rather loud early morning wake up call!!! So, you might want to bring earplugs because it really is a great hotel and we'll worth staying.

We were very late arriving, 2 am to be precise, but the hotel staff were still all there and gave us a great welcome. The room was large with a great bathroom and loads of hot water and free wifi. The staff were always helpful and always polite and ever keen to help They have a great bar in the hotel and the food there is fab, recommend the chicken manchurian or ginger chicken, had these three times! Would def recommend and would definitely stay there again A pleasure

Since I booked the hotel from Singapore, I hadn't first heard about the hotel ever before. I was pleasantly surprised after check-in. I booked a triple room (4 adults + 1 child), paid for an extra bed. We just stayed 1 night. It was a very clean room, toilets were also very clean. Hotel is walking distance to central bus stand, there's a vegetarian hotel Sangeetha's just adjacent to the hotel. All in all very good price for a very good hotel.

Service - when we arrived 21 Dec 2017, India was still facing cash shortage due to the sudden demonetisation of Rs500 & 1000 notes without prompt replacement with new notes by the Modi administration in its fight against corruption. We only managed to get cash in the form of Rs2000 notes from money changers and was unable to pay for our cab ride from the airport to the hotel which was only Rs450. Thankfully, the owner/manager helped us pay the cab driver with his own personal money and we managed to pay him only later in the day after we managed to change in cash for our Rs2000 notes from the restaurant next door. Value for $ - this must be one of the best value for $ hotels in Trichy. Good comfy bed and amenities. Can easily compare the rates and ratings on Agoda Food - the restaurant next door Ezham Suvai serves amazing Indian food. It was the best i've ever had and I live in Malaysia where South Indian food are plentiful. Their "gold platter" or "platinum platter" during lunch is a must have Roomkeeping in South India - After spending a week in Trichy & Velankanni, we conclude that the culture is that roomkeeping is not done unless specifically requested for. It may be that they do not want to enter the rooms unbidden.

Check in took us less than 5 minutes. Staff are very helpful. The room was very clean and the bathroom was beyond expectations. The comfort of bed gets 5star. Traditional breakfast was included which was good and the free wifi connection was very fast which enabled me to reach my family back home in malaysia. Rambha theatre is just 10 steps away. The cinema was the best experience for my kids. Shopping area is about 10 minutes by auto. The staff were very kind to help me weigh our luggage before we left even though the weighing scale was in the basement storeroom. Safe n quiet hotel. Food in the restaurant is delicious. Staff at reception knows all about the area. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all my friends and family.
