Where to stay in Morjim
Morjim hotels & accommodations

We recently stayed at Rococco Ashvem beach as part of a three week holiday in India. The five nights we stayed at the hotel were a very relaxing and enjoyable time for us. The staff were exceptionally helpful, especially when we were four hours late arriving, due to a train delay, the driver waited for us at the station!!! We also lost our room key and again the staff ...

I was there during monsoon time and consciously chose to be in Morjim /Ashwem to have peace on quiet beaches. I enjoyed long walks in the beach and reading my book by the pool or in my room. Important advise is to carry an umbrella or long stick with you if you want to walk in the beach because of the stray dogs who feel they own the beach. I had to escape a bunch if 7...

The best part about this place is the location, rite on the beach! The photos do not do justice to what view you get at this place!! There are many things they need to work on though, one of the 3 rooms we booked had a really bad door! The in house restaurant served us some amazing food, both veg and non-veg for lunch and dinner! They really have to improve on their ...

We stayed in the tropical room, which was lovely. A good size room , soft large bed, free water after room service and a hot shower. Unfortunately we went during rainy season, so the hammocks and beds weren't out on the beach. However the pool and Jacuzzis were available and working. Great service! My partner fell sick whilst staying at the hotel, the staff were very ...

We had a excellent overall experience of our hotel stay @ Red Fox Morjim Hotel. Rooms were clean and good sized, bed could have been slightly bigger though ( for family of 2 adults + 1 child ) . Swimming pool was slightly smaller but was clean. Activity center needs some more facilities i.e. Carrom, etc. Restaurant food experience was mixed with some food items taste b...

Morjim is in the heart of holiday Goa and the Montego Bay Beach Village is in the heart of Morjim. You can enjoy the breathtakingly beautiful beach from sunrise to sunset with effortless access to sea, sand and all of the great beach cafes and restaurants and clubs. The Montego Bay Beach Village is a family friendly seaside base to explore the lovely countryside and in...

Nice place to stay if you are looking right next to the beach. This place has a rocky beach so swimmers have to find a safe spot. Food was good. Rooms are spacious and clean but TV didn't work in 3 rooms that were given to us during the stay. Deluxe rooms are not sea view rooms and you have to come out to the restaurant if u want sea view. Super deluxe have sea view. A...

Our stay at the Morjim Queen Beach resort was really awesome. The cottages were colorful & clean. You will get to go to the Morjim beach just a walk away from the property. The food, staff, bike arrangments were fabulous. We went in the first week of September, so it was the end of the rainy season. It was a bit hurdle in order to enjoy in Goa, but we couldn't care l...

I would rate my stay at Morjim Hermitage Resort as an average one. The resort is on the beach so it scores the points on Location. The rooms were okay, but not that great. Things like towel replacement, housekeeping on daily basis, were lacking. Also please be aware that breakfast inclusion does not mean a good spread of breakfast. It just includes bread omlette and p...

Sur La Mer was everything and more. My daughter and I were looking for some quiet time where we could work (yes I know.. in Goa!) and play in peace. We definitely didn't want to stay at baga / calangute this time and Morjim ticked all our boxes. Safe, clean, good crowd, excellent places to eat and easy to get to. Sur la Mer exceeded all our expectations as well. The ow...

Great location - right on Morjim beach . We had a non a/c room . Rooms were very basic , bed was comfortable , bathrooms though small were clean and hot water was available at all times . Staff was very friendly , always ready to help . Would definitely stay here again :)

The hotel is brand new. The room is nice, spacious. Aircon, TV, everything works well. The hotel is clean, western standard clean. There is a small pool to chill. The location is great if you wanna be a bit away from the noisy beach bars. A motorbike can be rented at the hotel, so you move around easily, I don't think walking to the beach is possible. The staff is very...

I visited with my family but experienced very bad service. No staff available during check in. I had to carry my own luggage. ACs not working due to voltage issue. Massage person dint turn up as per his timings so had to skip massage. He kept me waiting for 1 hour and no show. Breakfast served after 1 hour of ordering. Had to request repeatedly for drinking water. No s...

After an extensive internet search, we spent 11 nights at this 'restaurant with (cottage) rooms' on the beautiful beach at Ashwem. The cottages are either side of a paved, level path that winds down between palm trees to the restaurant overlooking beach - sunsets to die for. Ours was a 'Grand' cottage which was spacious, comfortable and attractively decorated in sim...

First it became difficult to find this resort bcoz other were also there of same name. A/C not working no hot water for bath changed the room but same problem there as well. Everyday when we return we had to remind for room service. Restaurant rates are too high.

It was one of the nicest stays i have ever had abroad and would suggest anyone to come and stay we stayed between the 15-18th march , the staff were incredible and so lovely , the setting is stunning , and the breakfast /food is totally varied . we would come back and stay soon for sure . way and charlie

From the online pictures one might conclude that this place have views (greenery views) but that is not the case. The rooms were large but full of insects and flies. Lizards were there in the wall first day. Lizards are safe but fear is there intuitively. It is two days I am out of this place but the flies bites are still itching. I booked the place for a very low...

Nice, cozy place on Morjim/Ashwem beach. Ok breakfast - nothing special, but clean and tasty. Clean bathroom. Water running with good pressure. Warm water day and night. The sea view vila is very cool, right on the beach; it keeps the feeling of a beach hut but has the comfort of a hotel room, which is nice. At night you can hear the waves. Actually you hear the waves ...

Room was clean and new because this is a newly established guesthouse. The room was very spacious and well-lit. All facilities worked well. Guesthouse is only a 10 min walk from morjim beac...

We stayed with young kids (7 and 5 yrs old) during May and booked the 2 bedroom apartment on the first floor. It's a big bungalow converted into a hotel and still maintains a calm home flavor. The staff (especially Ramesh and Varsha) are very attentive and friendly, home style Indian food is a hallmark here. The bungalow itself doesn't have much activities (they do hav...

A bit pricey for our standards, but definitely worth it. Much better equipped than any of the rooms we've stayed at in our two months in India. Comes with a fridge, kitchen area, living room area with seating, AC, and hot water. Balcony area with chairs. Only suggestion is that the TV doesn't have any English channels. Good, peaceful location within walking distanc...

Excellent cleanliness, service, and appearance. Very good value for price. Location could be better though. The entrance of the hotel is through a very poorly maintained alley. This is the only way to access it by car or walking. The hotel should maintain the way leading to it or at least light up the path in the night so guests can use the way to get to and from morgi...

Stay is just awesome. Just need to improve the items on menu as they just offered two dishes. Staff is cool and supporting. Beach view is fantastic. Stones throw from morjim beach in old morjim, quiet area but short walk to more lively areas in the eve. Pool area nice and quiet. Area caters more for Russian tourists. Despite this it was...

This place is difficult to locate if you reach after sunset. The baddest part is, if by chance you get sick and try to find anyone for help, you will not even find person at Reception at 10 pm . There is no nearby hospitals who works 24 hrs. If you book this place, book it at your own risk!!

The soft golden sands are perfect for lounging, while the clear blue waters invite you to take a dip or try your hand at various water sports.
One of the unique features of Morjim Beach is its status as a nesting ground for the *Olive Ridley turtles*. From November to March, these turtles come ashore to lay their eggs, offering visitors a chance to witness this extraordinary natural phenomenon. Local conservation efforts have made it possible for travelers to learn about these magnificent creatures while supporting their protection. The beach is lined with charming shacks and cafes, where you can sip on a refreshing drink or enjoy some delicious local cuisine, enhancing your overall experience.
For those interested in wellness, Morjim is home to several yoga retreats and wellness centers. Unforgettable Reasons to Experience Morjim
Morjim offers a plethora of reasons to visit, from its serene beaches to its vibrant culture. The beach itself is less crowded than others in Goa, allowing for a more intimate experience with nature. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely walk along the shore, collect seashells, or simply relax under the sun without the hustle and bustle of larger tourist areas. The laid-back vibe of Morjim is perfect for those looking to escape the fast pace of everyday life.
In addition to the natural beauty, Morjim is rich in culture and local traditions. The nearby *Shree Kuldevta Panchaytan Devasthan* is a significant cultural site that showcases the local heritage and traditions of the area. When to Experience the Magic of Morjim
The best time to visit Morjim is during the winter months, from November to February, when the weather is pleasantly cool and dry. This period is ideal for beach activities, exploring local attractions, and enjoying outdoor dining. The temperatures typically range from 20°C to 30°C (68°F to 86°F), making it comfortable for sunbathing and sightseeing. During this time, Morjim also hosts various cultural festivals that showcase the region's traditions, adding an extra layer of excitement to your visit.

However, it's essential to check for any local events or festivals that might coincide with your travel dates, as they can significantly enhance your experience.
Monsoon season, from June to September, brings heavy rainfall and strong winds, making it less suitable for beach activities. However, if you enjoy lush greenery and a quieter atmosphere, visiting during this time can offer a unique perspective on Morjim. Just be prepared for the wet weather and plan indoor activities or relaxation time at your accommodation.
