Palolem hotels & places to stay

Came here with a friend and stayed in one of the mixed dorm rooms. Clean, safe, and only a few minutes' walk from the beach. The lockers under the bed are nice and HUGE - each is half of the length of the bed (you need to provide your own lock or buy one from the front desk). There are laundry racks on the roof for drying clothes. The breakfast offered at the adjoining cafe was impressive, especially for being complimentary (with my specific reservation type anyway). Staff were helpful, gave good advice for taking local buses and offered to call for a tuk-tuk when my friend and I were heading to the bus staiton. We paid more for this than it's realistically worth, but we came during peak tourist season and also booked the room pretty last-minute - so I'm sure that was part of the cost. I would have no issues staying there again if I ever return to Palolem.

We stayed for three days and we had a wonderful feelings over there.The staffs are really good and friendly.Live music all day is good.From resort, we went to some site seeing places and the resort person arranged us a best driver(Sudhakar).During night they conducted candle light dinner which impressed us a lot.we had a best experience over there and best & safe place to hangout for a family... Plus Points - Location,Food and friendly restaurant staffs,Safety & Rooms. Minus points - Room - we had booked a room with extra bed but we didn't get till night and finally i cancelled.whenever we call room service person he said he is very busy. TV also had not worked and informed to same person,he again said as busy and till check out he did not come to check it.

Palolem Beach Resort - Got this resort as we preferred a bit calm serenity rather than noisy beach parties. For the first time we opted for a beach side cottage rather than luxurious hotels with so called "Great Amenities" - and I must say "was an extremely good decision". Situated on the beach in South Goa, surrounded by green hills the Arabian sea & its backwater do its magic well. Even the restaurant was lively yet you can hear the waves pacifying your break from hectic schedule. Staff Members were really helpful & flexible to make your trip memorable. I could remember a stewardess named "Pawan" - which was on the roll. His gesture & serving style was 5 - star. Overall, worth a visit.

We wanted budget AC hotel close to beach in Palolem. This one fitted well. Staff is good and behaved. Hoetl offers AC rooms, so even though 400 mts away from beach, we preferred AC rooms in guest house, over the beach cottages which were non AC. No provision for drying clothes in room. The 24 hr hot water, AC and the bed condition was very good. Small fridge in room was very good surprise and we did use to the fullest. Definitely recommended for all the budget travelers. Good VFM and what is harm in saving some money, if the basic needs are taken care of of?

Recommended if you want to chill on the beach for 10hr days (bliss!). Location: It's the first place to the left on Patnem beach. Good location - 3km walk to Palolem / 100INR rickshaw. The beach here is much nicer than palolem. No party atmosphere. Rooms: Clean. Bathroom is old but shower is hot and strong. Beach beds are great and no mosquitos Food is just okay... - Fruit salad, curd and yogurt (good) - Pancakes are crepes (pretty dry) - Masala omelette (good) - Tandoori King fish and veggies (could have been way tastier and fresher) - Vegetable korma is bland and gross - Chapati - terrible/hard/thick - No mango lassi avail. but banana was ok - Chills prawns were not too bad - Best of everything was garlic nann Raj that works there is super sweet and helpful! He's great.

A quiet, peaceful, clean, spacious and equipped with all the necessary electronics required for your stay. They have AC accommodations and very clean rooms and helpful staff members. It is away from all the chatter of the busy market street of palolem yet literally a minute walk away from the wonderful beach. Be careful as this place might be difficult to locate but it just adds up to the fun of the journey. If you are using google maps like all of us normal humans then search for Art resort and the entry of the Club Palolem hotel is just opposite to it. The hotel has 2 entries, the first is described above and the second is next to El Diablo cafe. The room we booked was an AC room and had a cupboard, table and chair, small chest of drawer, a mini fridge, comfortable bed, pillows and duvet, kettle with coffee sachet, tea bags, sugar, tv with all the channels including sports, movies, music, drama. The bathroom was big and spacious unlike any other hotel rooms and was neat and clea

yeah, basically its like this. i havent had mu proper flat for the last six years. last year i got married too. i travel with my wife and ended up in palolem - and the secret garden. instantly felt at home for the first time in years. Stayed three weeks and could barely move on. Monica and Nazir as well as the other guys in the team (Nazirs brother and the other guy) are awesome people. strive their best to make everything work. And believe me it does, just visit and you'll see.

Lovely staff, food was ‘suprisongly’ good. Right in the middle of the gorgeous Patnem beach close to loads of other restaurants. We chose the top floor room of the beach bungalow... fabulous balcony for sunset drinks. However the building was very flimsy and shook whenever we walked through it. In fact it’s so flimsy that the nieighbours downstairs might as well have been in the same room we could hear them breathing. The bed was also on a slant and the mattress was poor, the bed linen smelled of dried in massage oil, not ideal. But overall it was a decent stay

Sunbeach residency offers best possible service in Palolem and its friendly stuff makes the stay very relaxing and enjoyable. We honestly have never seen such friendly and reliable people in Goa and whole India. we stayed at Sunbeach Residency during low season (beginning of october), when we could experience massive tropical rains at some days. So - on one day, we asked the owner, if he had some pepsi (a "no" answer would be absolutely fine for us) - yet he got on his scooter and drove out to get us the drink under a heavy shower rain, before we could even try to stop him. We were shocked, but yet extremely pleased with how much they value their guests. Also, they really cared to bring our drying clothes under the sun and then back in the building when it rained. The weather was changing 10 times a day and yet they didn't stop bothering and continued the process (again we never asked for this - but truly appreciated it) Sunbeach is situated around 300 meter from the beach, which isn't great - but the attitude towards guests definitely worths staying here. Besides if you rent a scooter (which is an absolute must in Goa), it pretty much neglects the only con Sunbeach has. We definitely recommend to stay at this clean and cosy place and wish the owners lots of luck!

Lovely hut with hot water and a toilet that actually flushes. Great wifi also. We arrived at 6am (on the night bus) and were allowed to check right away. The check in process was also great (we were allowed to sleep and checked in when we woke up from our naps). The only issue is the staff. We had absolutely no privacy. We couldn't sit outside without one of the staff coming to chat (and he would talk about other guests) which we did not encourage. We couldn't leave the property without being drilled about where we were going and what we were doing. Don't stay here if you want to rest and have privacy. We also had to ask to get our passports returned many times over a 30 hour period. The manager was either lying on a hammock or having a nap and kept saying we would get it back "later." It was such an ordeal.

I booked two nights at Tent Cressida Cyrus and ended up staying a week. The site is located slightly inland (~1 min walk) so it is much quieter than other locations directly on the beach. Further, since they do not have a restaurant or bar, they are instead exclusively focused on providing quality accommodations for their guests. The rooms are clean and quite large, with good lighting, water pressure and strong ceiling fans. David (the manager)and his staff are always available to help with recommendations or whatever else is needed. Nighttime security is constantly walking around to make sure everyone is safe. I look forward to my next stay.

If you like me, research the life out of accommodations options to the point of eye turning, well stop now! Photos are out of date so the chalet style huts were a great surprise We stayed here 9 nights as everything was on our doorstep - quite literally the beach too. Brilliant, attentive staff and the food options were varied as they were tasty. This is a great value base for your southern goa experience and DEFINITELY a much better alternative to Palolem.

We had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The location of the hotel is amazing. t is on the Palolem beach but we didnt do our research in terms of reaching there. The only drawback is that it is bit far from any major city. The hotel unfortunately don't arrange a pickup. We had a hard time getting to the nearest station which is Canacona. Luckily one of the trains was delayed when we reached Madgaon and we managed to get that train. The taxis are just too expensive. Over all the stay was amazing. The food and the service was great. The only complain about the room was there was no hot water and a couple of bathroom tiles were broken but I guess there's not much to complain given that it is a beach hut. In Summary, I loved the place and would love to go back. Thanks

Stayed here as part of a group, many of them opted for the cheaper accommodation but as it was our first trip to India/Goa I wanted to ensure we had the best possible stay we could. I opted for the Deluxe Room with Balcony. It was a huge room, excellent bathroom facilities, beds were comfy and the the facilities on offer were great; (e.g. cable TV, coffee/tea making, kitchenette etc., slightly glitchy wi-fi but the digital detox came in handy!) The staff at Pritams were very accommodating and they did everything they could to make our stay a pleasant and happy one. The location was perfect in Palolem and was ideally located for shops, bars and excellent restaurants. I wouldn't hesitate in going back here and plan to in the future! Sobitai - building managed by hotel staff from opossite the road, La Alegria place. Room was very good, AC working, hot water, ceiling fan, balcony, lights, fridge with some free bottled water and big bed all nice and tidy. Free laundry service has been offered. We really liked our stay and we extended for 2 more days. Only one minus was very intermittent WiFi, I checked it with the owner and solution shown was to reset router. I tried that following night and next day as well, few times, and it didn't work. End result - for 8 hours or 12  every day there was not internet and no fix for it.

Seldom there are places which are not just hotels, but a part of you stays with them forever and a part of them, you carry back with you! Bhakti Kutir was one such experience for me...my long cherished and dreamt of solo birthday trip and I booked Bhakti Kutir on pure impulse...I couldn't have been more right in that moment. The cottages are lovely, the greens around you are infectiously charming...the little ghungroo hung at your door is like poetry in itself and the awesomely quiet monsoon beach of Palolem...I was intrigued, mesmerised and amazed by the place! A word of caution...the resort is far far away from the hustle and bustle of Touristy Goa...secluded and preserved like a gem...but then who was complaining! and over that, a lovely spa and awesomely sumptuous organic meals; that serenely pale ginger tea in cold evenings and a cat whisking away around me. I was, as if transported into a Ruskin Bond novel. Loved it totally...can't wait to go back to Bhakti Kutir...truly!
