Breakfast is more catered to Asian guests than westerners. So if the westerners can manage their expectation then they will be okay. Some of the staff spoke okay english

Helen at check in was very nice. Location to MRT and Guangzhou East Station trains requires a long walk inside the station and out on the street plus a steep climb up and down an overhead bridge. If you have luggage, don't even think about catching these trains!!! The area around the hotel is dusty and dirty. There is construction work also out on the street. There are no shops or restaurants around. We booked last minute on the train going to Guangzhou so we didn't have time to check the details carefully. The final cost per night was added on tax and fees - could have stayed at other hotels with much better location at the same price. The reception staff were great.

terrible location , not a 5star hotel , not value for money”
me and my bussiness partner booked this hotel during canton fair ,the hotel location was terrible .it was advertised as near east train station but in reality it took us 15min by taxi to get there due to the akward location the hotel is in , no matter u walk or by taxi you need to take a big round to get to hotel secondly the hotel advertised as a 5 star hotel but its no way near it ,i would give it a 4star just becuase the reception staff was freindly . finally if anyone is coming for canton fair i would not recommed this hotel ,firstly they dont give clear instructions on where the bus is located during you return and when they drop you at fair ,again they they drop you in middle of no where ,we were littrely droped on the side ways where still there was some construction was on. on our way back ,we were very tired and were expecting some refresments from hotel at lobby which all other hotels do but again we were disspointed ,totally nothing at all. never gonna stay here again !

Poor service and overcharged”
When I booked with Agoda, the price on the website and payment confirmation screen stated a total price (inclusive of VAT and service charges). This is absolutely opposite to what I had to pay at the hotel- meaning I had to pay more than I agreed to on the website. THAT IS WRONG. It is also a long way from the train station, and they told us we could not use the free shuttle bus to the train station. When then saw four Chinese people hop onto the free shuttle bus. Overall the customer service was very, very bad and the location was poor.

Guangzhou - Ramada Plaza GZH”
the Ramada Plaza Guangzhou is a very nice hotel which is near East Railway station. The rooms are big, nice, and clean. The internet connection is fast and free. Breakfast is good although not free. The english speaking staff are very efficient and friendly. One thing i don't like about hotel is the absence of places to eat within walking distance. YOu have to ride a taxi to get to one.

Location of the hotel is in Tianhe District which is the opposite from East Guangzhou Railway Station so it is easy to find. Hotel Card can be found in folder inside the room or you can ask from concierge. In the card you can find famous destination and map of hotel both in English and Mandarin. Most of Hotel staffs are friendly and can understand English well except Enginnering Staff so I was having a hard time to explain that the AC was not working well. The guest room which I stayed is large with double bed. Bathroom is equipped with both shower and bathtub. Coffee/Tea Service, minibar are provided free of charge. It is better to take a taxi to go out because the subway station is across the freeway so it is far to walk.

this hotel is located in tianhe district just opposite east guangzhou railway station. not difficult to find and most taxi drivers know the place. large bedroom and bathroom with glass wall looking to the bedroom. bathroom is equipped with shower and bathtub. complete amenities and comfy bath towels. coffee and tea service are provided, but no diet sugar. front office staffs and concierge speak english fluently, but not the engineering staffs. we need to explain many times regarding our room air conditioner which was not working properly.

The hotel is within walking distance to/ from the Guangzhou (East) Train Station. Of all the hotels that I have stayed in Guangzhou, this is one of the very few hotels whose staff are very polite, friendly and always ready to help to serve. The services were just superb and our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Room service was quick and everything brought to us through room service was impeccable. Food served in the Chinese Restaurant was awesome and no words can explain how wonderful the food is.

The hotel location is perfect. Across the main highway both the metro and the railway are situated. Next to the hotel there are 2 reasonably priced restaurants, and in the metro station area at least 10 more and a shopping mall. So I guess the other guest who wrote the review about restaurants never bothered to leave the room at all. The staff were friendly and doing their best for your pleasure. Still keep in mind you are in China, so as a guest don't expect everyone to speak fluent English, still they are willing to help you to their best ability. If you like large beds, at least after European standards, this is the place to stay in... Rooms are modern and in the premium zone all the features of a mini office are available. Wifi in the lobby as well as business center. All in all a hotel worth staying at. Highly recommended.

Everything about this hotel was pretty nice. The location is close to the East Rail Station so you can travel to HK easily. The rooms are very comfortable. The bathroom is very nice and the sauna downstairs is large and clean. May not be the best 5 star in the area but you probably won't get a better value. Remember this is Guangzhou and not Shanghai so the English isn't the best for a business type accommodation but for the most part communication was reasonable. The only complaint was that the site shows complimentary wifi in the rooms. They do have a LAN cable but if you want wifi, you have to hope they have a router available for you or you have to go to the lobby for it.

Best 4.5 star grade in Guangzhou”
Ramada is Best 4.5 star grade in Guangzhou. If you are business purpose in Guangzhou, it will be best of best. It is Tienhu-Area for business. If you want to visit for shopping, it is a little bit far from shopping area. But Taxi is cheap. just 15 mins It is very nice and big room. The bath tube is big and clean. I will come this hotel, again.

This is my first stay at this hotel. It is located close to Guangzhou East railway. It is quite new and is suited to business functions and weddings. The room is quite large and modern in its appointments. There is an ATM in the lobby and you can exchange cash at the reception. There are lots of good eating places nearby and English is spoken by many staff at this hotel.

Best Hotel”
As I stated above, this is one of the best hotels in Guangzhou, especially if considering the price. Just one point, you should take a taxi to access to the hotel from the station. The way is pretty complicated, and what you see around the way is not pleasant. Catching a taxi sometimes takes much longer as not so many taxies run on the road in flont of the hotel. If you get this point, this hotel is very comfortable.

we were well received by friendly staff,and the sat was enjoyable.rooms were spacious,and clean,and the restaurants offered us variety.we thooroughly enjoyed the buffet breakfast as a first meal before our daily visits to shopping centres. language was not a problem since there was always someone who could speak english.we will stay again at ramada plaza on our next visit

The hotel is just located behind East Station. But not able to reach there by walking because is divided by the highway. However, we can reach the east station and the main shopping area within 10 minute by taxi. Hotel staff is friendy by always put on the smile and are willing to assist you. Room is clean and the bed is comfortable. I enjoy my stay in this hotel during my visit to canton fair.
