“Exceptional stay but front desk crew was a bit weird ”
We stayed here for two nights. Room 604. The view from this room is not the best. Don’t fall for the lake view. There is ample natural light. Beds were comfortable, linens were clean. Bathroom was a wee bit small, especially when you open the door it completely blocks the way to toilet however you can manage. Shower can be hot or cold or extremely hot sometimes. Be careful. We did get burnt once.Maybe it’s just this room? TV needs a better way to connect to the Wi-Fi- it kept on disconnecting after an hour or so. So if you plan on binging on Netflix might be a bit annoying. Whenever we asked for supplies it took them a few calls as reminders but they delivered. Shoutout to one of the guy who helped us get a wine opener in the middle of the night. Also, the housekeeping staff is amazing! We did not try their food. However, their food prices seemed pretty decent. Liquor prices seemed pretty high. We dined outside. The front desk lady from Meghalaya, I forgot her name but she had glasses and every staff member has a name badge with their name and name of the state. Hers was Meghalaya. Anyways, she was a bit strange during checkout. She made us wait after checkout. Understandable as the staff has to check for damages and what not. However, there was another gentleman who checked out after us but he was let go without letting him wait and check his room for damages and stuff. We felt he got special treatment because he was a foreigner ? Overall 4 out of 5! Will come again!
