We had booked their so called "Deluxe " room after visiting their website. It was a profound disappointment.. more like a room in a non-descript lodge and not worth even half of the tariff. To make matters worse, the overall ambience of the building where this was located was like a construction site. We made our sense of being taken for a ride quite clear to the fron...

i got an exellent rate from agoda.com (half off),so the quality of the hotel and it's amenities were beyond my expectations! it's really a good value for the price you pay. the last 1 km of the road to the hotel is in a pretty bad shape and due to this taxis charge a lot of money for the 7km ride from/to the station (rs.300 - non-ac amby) but due to this isolated l...

The resort is simply the best with helpful staff and good facilities. The resort is clean, food is good with staff who are willing to help you at all times. I love this hotel not only because of the location or cleanliness or staff behavior. Best part is their food quality especially the local cuisine. Yes there is some areas where improvement can be done especially the room floors but over all no issue. Rates of rooms sometimes goes very high.

Enjoyable holiday at Puri with such a great hotel. Staff are very very co-operative. only disadvantage for old age people that there is no lift / elevator . All rooms are sea view, beach is very near to the hotel. I am highly recommending the hotel for young couple & children. Nice selection by Agoda group.

Leaks in the ceiling from the central a/c system need to be resolved. In such a hot, humid environment such problems cause mold and a stale odour particularly wherever the leaks occur. Scented sprays used to cover up the odour can be overwhelming for anyone with breathing issues, such as asthma. The receptionion desk has no one who can communicate in English, which c...

A good hotel, very close to the railway station. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of Indian food, cereals and fruits. We used the hotel as a base to explore the city as well as take trips to the nearby caves and to Puri. The only lack was that the swimming pool was not really in u...

I stayed with my family in the hotel. My Parents, Wife and a kid aged 4. We occupied 2 rooms for 2 Nights and found the Hotel to be Good. The Hotel is close to the train station, but on the wrong side of the tracks! Thank heavens for Uber! Hotel itself is clean and bland, but the newness is starting to rub off at the edges. We also spent a while trying to find light switches, to discover they were behind the sliding bathroom door! The staff were helpful and polite, and the breakfasts were varied an...

Location wise excellent. Far from crowdy Swargdwar. Yo will enjoy like Private Beach. Staffs are excellent. No running Kitchen. You have to order for foods in well advance. Had problem with AC...it was tripping quite frequently, but staff were prompt to rectify.

Although I had booked all the rooms for wedding ceremony, the guests were not treated properly by housekeeping and room service staff. However, the banquet staff especially the F&B Manager,Amulya Sahoo provided excellent service with outstanding quality of food in all the 04 occasions of lunch and dinner banquets . All the guests were highly satisfied with the banquets...

We loved staying at Mayfair. The hotel is beautiful with fantastic staff and great facilities. The location of the hotel is excellent with all amenities close by like chemist shop, grocery store, hospital etc. The staff was always happy to help. We will definitely stay in Mayfair Rourkela the next time. Fully recommended.

While I would rate the hotel 10 on 10, there is a small drawback where I feel the Hotel management can take a small step. Though the authorities have clearly mentioned the several Dos and Don't s for the residents with regard to use of the swimming pool, it was disgusting to see many customers plunging into the pool with their Jockeys, Salwar Kameez, Jeans-T Shirts and...

Charges paid for 2 days were almost 7700 Swimming Pool - Water was not clean AC was not working for 1st night and when complained no one was bothered as it was a daily routine for them. Horrible experience. Useless hotel. Very bad location (far from the city centre). Front desk staff behaviour is very rude and impolite. Especially Mr Kashi Nath Mohanty and Mr Ajay Patra behaved badly with us. Inspite of confirmation from Agoda, they told us that our booking is not valid and that we may have to pay extra money. Check out time of 8 AM is not acceptable....
Cheap places to stay in Orissa

So they cremate bodies directly across the street from this hotel all day and night. Honestly, I found the view from the room absolutely fascinating. It is a strange thing to view mourning and death like that from your hotel window. However, everything we owned smelled like burnt human flesh once we left, but the smell washed out of our clothing pretty easily. The hote...

The room was ready on time with all services very punctual. The food was also very nice had it been veg or non veg. The staff was also very co-operative even if they had to extra labour for us. The best part would be the pool and poolside. The mango tree beside added up the maximum charm of staying at the hotel. Overall it was my one of the best stays in Puri.

Pros: Clean environment, near to Sri Jaganath Temple, pure vegetarian food (without onion & garlic) available at hotel restaurant. Breakfast, lunch & dinner available. Very helpful hotel staffs. Will book this hotel in future. Cons: Check out time is not convenient at 8am. After requested, manage to extend check out time up to 9.30am.

If you are a hermit who never goes out of room, great. But Location terrible, like an outback stop outside Puri..not IN it Agoda! Staff non existent unless you shout around the place..and then they can't understand, not entered. I was the ONLY guest there..depressing. Glad to leave for civilisation. Had one meal in an empty restaurant and charged ab 300rs for a 100rs...

Stayed for couple of days with only room booking (no breakfast though there is an option). Location: Step away from Railway Station and hardly 3 kms away from airport. Big & clean rooms. Clean toilets. Clean linens. Good quality of mattress and pillows that ensure a good nights sleep. Television & AC in room - just as expected. The staff is very helpful. Delicious home cooked food available at any time. Definitely its a value for money. Will stay there next time I visit Bhubuaneswar.

This is located just about 100 odd meters from the railway station. I booked through agoda and got a good price! The staff were very courteous. There are plenty of options for food and at times spoilt for choices ! The facilities are available at call ! I would not hesitate to recommend for stay !

Commode seat was broken, leaking water from toilet whoose, no response from manager, despite of repeated complaint. No warm woolen blankets, no room heaters in cold chilling nights. My daughter was shivering badly. She was feeling difficulty in breathing. We were helpless. Rubbed her palms and legs. Put all warm clothes we had on her... It was like when do we get ...

Larica hotel is located across the sea beach on new marine drive road. It is the only good thing about this hotel. We checked in our rooms at around 1130 hrs. the rooms were stinky and one could not have feeling other than pouring out. The rooms were not clean, stains on walls and were full of mosquitoes. Next day around 0730 hrs we left for Puri Temple in front of ho...

We were offered a different room than what we booked on Agoda and had to fight initially during check-in, and hotel staff would say No to whatever you ask, food was pathetic, really dissapointed with Agoda as well they too were not helpful and not bothered to hear to help out.

If "agoda" has track record of it's travelers,I am the one on their roll. This hotel is the one,I can vouch for to be of the international standard, because,I am a permanent Resident of USA,widely travelling across counties.Food served in the restaurant was as good as home made. I will highly recommend this hotel to my contacts planning to visit Bhubaneshwar.

Pros Budget hotel may be due to off season. Got 2 double bed rooms for 2 nights at 2800 in the month of april. The hotel has AC restaurant which serves good food. One can get fish Thali at 110, taste is good. It has TV(24 inches) for entertainment, I watched Ipl. Cleaniliess is good and blankets and bed sheets are good. AC works fine and bathroom is OK. We love Mahodadhi Palace, ideal location, easy to get around, food and staff were excellent, the pool is lovely, but for western travellers (which probably are few and far between) no sun loungers, surely a few of these would be used, as people like to relax even if not sunbathing. Guides and taxis arranged for us no problem. If you book on Agoda, please be aware that ...

The Hotel is still in construction phase. Elevators are not working. The pic does not replicate the original room. Gives the impression that it near the city but it on the highway and not near to any restaurants. Rooms are so small that they cannot accommodate the extra bed.

We experienced a pleasant stay with family in this hotel in July 2014. The hotel is centrally located in a relatively huge area with a decent and specious lobby. The famous Konark Dance Festival, held in December, is a must-see event that showcases the best of Odissi and other classical dance forms against the backdrop of the magnificent Sun Temple.
