The Bamboo Retreat is a lovely hotel, which has been well maintained, freshly painted, with a different colour scheme and plant theme for each room, and beautiful gardens. The staff are friendly and super helpful. It's great value and much nicer than many similarly priced hotels we have seen in Sikkim. Highly recommended
we had a great stay though it was disgusting to find that our 3 days bookings were cancelled & mess up by agoda.com it was very nice of keepsa's staff & general manager who gave us accomodation at the last minute though the hotel was full and no rooms were available. i hope you have paid the hotel for our 3 nights stay.

Hotel Valley View is a decent hotel peacefully located down the road in lower Pelling. The owner, cook and other staff boys are ever smiling, excellent and made our stay comfortable. The property is clean, rooms are good, bathroom has 24 hour hot water and are clean. Overall, the property is maintained nicely. And yes, we saw the Kanchenjungha from our window.
