We booked 3 nights here at the end of a month in India for a bit of luxury and it definitely delivered. The staff are wonderful, so efficient, friendly and polite- nothing is to much for them. Our room came with an excellent complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, fruit platter, mini bar and tea and coffee room service for each day of our stay- lots of extra perks for one of the more affordable rooms ! The spa also offered us a complimentary foot massage and we made use of the fitness centre. The front desk organised us a walking tour ( heritage tour) which we would highly recommend - the guide was excellent. Best we experienced in India. As it was monsoon season the river was too high for us to enjoy the boat ride to the hotel and it can be tricky to find on foot as it is in the maze of old town Varanasi , hence 4 star for location, and would be nice to have a swimming pool, hence 4 for facilities.

This is one of the nearest hotel to Taj Mahal with a slow walking of 20mins. It also provides half hr briefing of the history of Taj Mahal complimentary (Thumbs Up). The restaurant is one of the best restaurant I've had in this India trip of mine with their friendly & attentive staffs at their restaurants (Double Thumbs Up for the restaurant's staffs). Good breakfast with lots of varieties of food. Nice, clean & spacious room. The downside of the hotel is the hidden charges for the taxi that the concierge book for me. Absolutely unacceptable. When they quoted me verbally 4800 rupees for a taxi (which is already roughly 30% higher than online booking), then when i check out fr the hotel, the price of 4800 rupees is b4 the government tax, service tax & service charge (Why do they charge service charge & tax for helping customer to book a taxi) which is 27% extra fr the original quote price (that's like double up of the online booking price). Such a ripped off. 1st impression was excellent of this hotel especially the restaurant staffs, but last impression was terrible when the concierge trying to ripped my wallet off. A recommendable hotel as it is really nice on their location, food, rooms, friendly staffs fr the restaurant, interior & exterior of the hotel BUT never book a taxi fr this hotel as they charge double the price for the same thing online (not a pleasant experience).

A stunning hotel to arrive to in India. The lobby entrance is so grand and gives an amazing vibe for your stay in Agra. We arrived at 4am in the morning. It’s such a shame that staff were incredible and painfully slow to check in, get our luggage to our room and an extra bed. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve had in India. Umar was so attentive to checking on us. We had dinner in the restaurant. It’s beautiful Indian food. Would have been lovely if they suggested the family naan for our party of 9. It would have made our dinner. The grounds are phenomenal. A shame the pool is a bit dated. Great if you are in a suite room as you have another pool to swim in. We organised some crossiants for our early Taj Mahal tour and it was there waiting for us at 530am. Would stay at ITC hotels again

We stayed here for 2 night and it was great. When we booked a hotel, we booked Deluxe Room but when we check in they upgrade us to Super Deluxe Room. But this room is on underground floor and we feel a bit uncomfortable because it didn't have a window. If you don't like this feeling don't forget to request high floor. Overall, the room is good. It's clean and spacious. Breakfast is ok, it doesn't have much of a choice but it's ok. Restuarant on the rooftop have a nice atmosphere and food really delicious. The best thing of this hotel for me is "location" because it's only 5 mins walk to Taj Mahal. If you want to visit Taj Mahal early in the morning, this place is a good choice for you.

If you want the best location, clean, sweet charm with great service... this is the place. Right on the Ganges, where you feel the spirit of the river and can walk with the amazing people who are here in the holiest city in India. Great little riverside outdoor restaurant. Was travelling in India for 2 weeks, stayed in a few 5 star hotels - this is not a 5 star, but was so much better (unless you feel you need spas, grand lobbies and opulence). Perfect!

The hotel was a clean, cool haven away from the dirt and squalor of the river-side area and yes I know that its The Ganges and the Ghats etc that you go there for. We are writing this in the last of 7 hotels on our 17 day trip and the Ramada is just about the best. From the level of service to the multi dining option and the price was very good as well. No hotel is perfect though and nor is the Ramada. Internet was expensive and by the hour, we had 2 short sessions of 10mins which seemed to be rounded up to 30mins. Come on Ramada 5 of our trip hotels had free internet. Yes I know the Internet isn't a deal-breaker but when you're a long way from home etc etc.

I was travelling with my elderly parents, best location in Varanasi. Clean room, friendly staff and delicious food. Overall it was a great stay. Highly recommend. Only down side was when asked for bill at the checkout I was not given one, instead I was told since I booked through online travel agent (OTA) and I will get bill from them. I know for the fact the OTA do not give bills for hotel stay but the person at the reception insisted I will get bill from my OTA. This was bit fishy for me. When insisted I was told my final bill will be sent to me via email which obviously didn't happened even after two weeks. I booked the place after getting so many great reviews and it is indeed a reputed guest house in the local area as well as public domain and therefor they should not leave opportunity for clients to question their integrity in regards to maintaining books and providing proper bills to their clients which ensures the government taxes paid by clients is actually going to the government.

I really love this place. Firstly, this hotel provided the best internet connection I've had throughout my trip in different cities in India. I don't know if it is because the WiFi modem is stuck to the wall right outside my room, but I was grateful to be able to update my whereabout for my parents who're always worried whenever I'm alone on the road. The next best thing was that tickets to the Taj Mahal is available for sale at the hotel reception - no extra charges or fees apply other than the official fees and levy. No need to tediously back track half-a-click (500m) to Shilpgram for the tickets. The hotel is only half the distance to Taj Mahal's west gate compared to Shilpgram. The short walk was good exercise and also helps build up the excitement to see the Taj :) Despite the short distance, you'll still get people touting for horse carriage rides etc., but just keep walking. The sunset view at the rooftop pool and dining area was also charming. You can even see the Taj Mahal from the rooftop before nightfall - though partly obstructed by trees. They have traditional music entertainment at the rooftop if you dine here at night. However, I prefer to eat in bright places, not to mention the freezing winter evening is really not suitable for alfresco dining. Buffet dinner and breakfast in the restaurant on the reception level was simple but delicious, and they're got some of the most attentice wait crew I've encountered. I'll defintely stay here again.

This hotel is best in terms of value for money. The breakfast service (rendezvous) is the best in class and can match any known 5 star. The Glassy restaurant also great in multi cuisine offerings. The rooms are big and comfy and the staff is everyready to help. Great place to live and it is 5 minutes from Taj Mahal. I will recommend anybody who would like stay 5 star but don't want to spend 5 star

This was a wonderful place to stay in Varanasi. Varanasi is a wonderful place, but also crazy in a unique way, so we were happy to have a nice, calm hotel room to retire to after braving the streets. Our room overlooked the Ganges, was clean and beautiful. The hotel is a little hard to find, but all the hotels along the Ganges in Varanasi are similarly located on these crazy little alleys. The staff was very kind and the food was good. There was also a complimentary boat ride at sunset to watch a ceremony at one of the ghats to the north. This was one of my favorite experiences from my time in India. We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel has two blocks - new and old. All the photos in website are featuring rooms in new block. When I arrived, standard room that I've booked is already full and the management wanted to give me the standard room in the old block which is smaller and not as in the featured room from website. However, after some discussion, they upgraded my room to Club with no extra charges. I suggest that the hotel should put some photos for rooms in the old building too in the website and may put lower rate for it (or something)... Anyway, the hotel itself is value for money.. My kids were comfortable staying there. We had a great time there. Definitely will stay here again if coming to Lucknow.

Hotel Heritage Inn was as welcoming as possible, the staff was eager to help and we had a wonderful time with their guide, Manogh. Manogh was attentive and very thorough with his explainations about the city and its way of life. I personally recommend you ask for him, if you need a guide. We were a small group of 4 people. I must say that, one evening, the head receptionist had a peculiar attitude. He seemed weird (maybe simply overly tired) and kept asking me about my girlfriend and I and saying that we'd forget to leave a review at his hotel. It was a bit disturbing... However, said man was all professional again just one hour later, so maybe it was just a slight mistake, the only dark point in this stay. Overall, I would recommend Hotel Heritage Inn for its cleanliness, the quality of their rooms, their personal and I wish them the best for the future.

This hotel has an Indian maharaja feel which commences upon entry where you are greeted by the staff and offered a mocktail. The service was excellent and they have a state of the art gym, sauna and spa. They also have a large pool. Unfortunately I'm not sure how many people take advantage of these facilities due to being out all day to visit the Taj Mahal or Agra fort. They are building at preent to the back of the hotel so it can be a little noisy if your room is towards the back. The room was clean and spacious but more 4 star in quality rather than 5. Overall the hotel was very good and the proximity to the Taj is good and would recommend it for anyone who wants a unique regal experience rather than a sterile 5 star chain one.

Ptos: 1. well constructed hotel with nicely furnished rooms. 2. I booked a triple room and it was just perfect for my family. 3. Food was amazingly tasty and consistent over my 4 nights stay. Commendable. 4. Service was prompt and proper. Very courteous. Cons: distance to Ghats is 4 to 5 kms. However, hiring tik tok or a autorikshaw is simple and cheap (say rs. 100.)

The location is good. Property is new and well maintained. Rooms are spacious. Furnishing/ upholstery is new and nice. Bathroom is really big- Needs a door in the shower compartment to avoid splashing of water. I requested late checkout and i got it. Dampness is felt in the common passage and irresponsible guests might have smoked in the room. Suggest use of Dehumidifier in common areas and Deodorizer m/c in rooms at regular intervals. Breakfast spread is enormous with numerous varieties-Five stars. However Dinner buffet spread is very poor and is worth Rs.299/-to Rs.399/- and cost is Rs. 1000/- for limited varieties: two veg &non veg curries,pasta,noodles, Salad, Bread / Roti, rice and few desserts.First question being asked- which travel portal you have booked. It seems that they are offering huge and different discounts to different travel portals. Alacarte too costly.Same property has access to adjoining Hotel restaurant Amaya-they charge 850/- which is worth.

It was an excellent, wonderful and unforgettable experience during our (me and my wife) stay at Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow. The location, service, facilities, cleanliness, staff's service, amenities, food and room are excellent. The overall services and facilities are excellent. We enjoyed our stay at Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow. It is full worthy for the value of money. We wish Hilton Garden Inn Lucknow all the best and all the success.

This hotel came as a very pleasant surprise. This recently renovated hotel retains a lot of it's 1950s character, in a building that's over 300 years old. Honestly, it looks a lot better in person than it does in the photos. We were both completely surprised by the character and charm of this hotel. The room was smaller but very cozy and quite pretty with very high ceilings. However, most sensationally about this hotel was everything was in very good working order much like the five star hotels in the area, including hot water and electricity. The best point of the hotel remains the staff, they were overly friendly and very very helpful absolutely every one of our needs or expectations was met and exceeded

This hotel under the leadership of Mr Lokesh Kumar Upadhya provided my wife and me with every imaginable comfort and courtesy during our 3 day stay there while visiting the TAJ Mahal .. A very clean hotel with quality food and attentive staff who goes the extra mile for you . We would like to thank Rahul amongst the restaurant staff and Prithi , of the guest services was excellent. Mr Sumant, Ragudev , The chef ( whose name I have forgotten) were also fabulous Last but not the least , the general manager was out of this world and made sure every one of his staff were on their toes , in providing the best stay for all the hotel guests .. I will take a bet that with Mr Upadhya ‘s leadership , the Ramada Plaza will become the best hotel in North India and we wish him the very best for this A fantabulous stay we had at the Ramada Plaza , Agra

I stayed in Varanasi for 3 nights as a first time solo traveller in India. The hotel is in a great location, less than 5 min walk to ghats by the river. I've got an upgrade to a room with a terrace, which was fantastic, as lets you enjoy a great view and some extra space. The hotel has been refurbished, room was very clean, spacious, bathroom was good. There is a restaurant on the roof terrace, food was tasty and portions were big: good paneer biryani, kashmiri food, juices. Staff was very friendly and helpful, they stepped in and advised a local guide for a walking tour, boatmen and even help with luggage, which made my day there, as nothing better than to explore the area with a trusted local. Next time I come there, I'll definitely book the room with a terrace, even if visited by monkeys.

Pros; Good location, walking distance to the best things in Kasi, by the bank of Ganges, restaurant with Ganges view and excellent food, near to river boat ride, Ganga prayers, Ganga Arti, Main temples - Viswanath, Visalakshi and Annaporna. Inside shopping area. Best is the attitude of the staff and management, especially Mr.Munna, one of the best and helpfull human being our family have ever met. He go beyond his duties to ensure guest is satisfied and expect nothing in return. Thank you Munna, our family will never forget you. Cons; Cars cannot reach to the hotel, need to walk around 800meters

The Ramada was a very interesting stay...i had some important family business I was attending to.and they went out of their way to be helpful and get me everything I needed and provided a wonderful hotel English speaking driver/car to take me to a destination 3 hours away. They really were wonderful. Thank you so much everybody!!! The hotel is gorgeous!! It's very new and some sections are still being worked on. Please check out all the website photos. There are some eclectic aspects to the hotel. A large array of lovely art is displayed and introduced to us by the hotel owners daughter who is also the actual artist. The food was wonderful...absolutely top class. I highly recommend the hotel. Only downside is it is a little far from Lucknow itself but taxis are arranged for you.

this is the best value for money out of all the hotels that we stayed (we stayed in 4 hotels in total) in india. we had breakfast and dinner in the rate, and our room comes with a large balcony that connects with our friend’s room. there are english novels that you can borrow too as bedtime reading from their library. breakfast and dinner were excellent. surprised its only a 3 star hotel! service was definitely 5 star :)

The staff here were brilliant. Very professional and obviously well trained on how to behave with guests. I cannot praise them enough from the reception to the restaurant to the bell boys. The rooms were clean and best of all the hotel is just 2km from the Taj Mahal. Ask for Tuk Tuk driver Raju just outside the hotel compound and he will take you to the Taj Mahal for just 50 Rupees. Very honest man. One problem was that this hotle doesnt have a pool as the pictures showed. They said it was a mistake by Agoda.

This is probably the best property in Vrindavan to stay. The hotel is located a bit far from the crowd. Assuming, we are travelling by car so communicating to rest of the town is not a problem. This is the only option in Vrindavan if you are looking for a star rated hotel to have a descent facilities. We didnt expect much in such places, however we are not disapointed at all by the property. Incase we are back to Vrindavan again, this is the place we are going to stay again.

This is th second time I stayed there with my family, The best part of this hotel is the facilities like good restaurant, brista cafe, swimming pool n temple. The food was really tasty n prices are also very reasonable. A special thanks to Mr Rakesh n Raghav ji for providing us good hospitality n services, they both were very courteous n always ready to help us n guide us regarding city or Cab services.
