"First we had a small room close to Sankta Monica Blvd and we could change to a room that was more quite. We appriciated parking, breakfast and the pool. That made the room value for money. However next time in Santa Monica we will probably stay closer to the beach, now you must take the car to the beach (15-40$ parking fee) or down town Sankta Monica, that is a lovely walkable center."

"A much more affordable spot if you are willing to walk a bit or take an Uber or Lyft. You can still enjoy everything Santa Monica has to offer, as well as the rest of LA. Beds are very comfy and rooms/bathrooms are spacious and clean. Be sure to request the top floor. I switched rooms because the people above me kept me up most of the first night there--lots of stomping around. Staff was really nice and accomodating, however. "

"This is an old hotel, but some of the rooms have gone through a renovation. I love the location, and the fact the windows really open. It's not new, and it's not super fancy, but the people are pleasant, parking is easy, rooms are large and I like its funky vibe. I'm in Santa Monica several times a year and I always stay here. If you are looking for fancy and new, then it might not appeal to you, but I find it fits me like an old shoe. "
