Where to stay in South Goa
South Goa hotels & accommodations

This was my 3rd visit to Goa, and everytime I used to stay in North Goa near Baga beach. But this time I decided to give South Goa a try, as their beaches and the water are supposed to be cleaner. The location of this resort is good, about 15kms from the Goa Airport, not too far in the South. The rooms are excellent, although I think they were a bit dimly lit. The Staf...

I stayed here for 2 nights with my family. the staff is very helpful. pros: swimming pool, beach front property. staff. Italian restaurant. cons: rooms are old fashioned. the resort boasts five star facilities but there was serious man power shortage especially in room service and restaurant. All Day Dining restaurant is having very few options for vegetarians. dinn...

Everything was excellent, Thanks god I choose to stay in Cottages, they were the best part of my stay. Heard a lot negative comments about the breakfast but all Crap the breakfast was All GOOD. Staff was well trained.. Will recommend it my friends and my next stay in Goa will also be Alagoa for sure

We had a wonderful stay here. Best part of this resort is it's fantastic staff who is always welcoming. Some of the names which I can recall are Saloni (at the front desk ) Ganesh Prabhu, Agnelo and Akshay...infact each and every staff whom we approached were friendly and happy to help with our queries. Breakfast spread was really nice, room was tidy and big enough for...

It;s a great option if you are looking for a central place to stay in South Goa. It's Could be your second home, Do not Consider it like a hotel. Rent a car and Drive to all major beaches which are maximum at 60 minutes drive and nearest Best-being Colva which is at 15 Minutes easy drive. Both Majorda and Utorda beaches are under 5 Minutes Drive and are good to visit ...

we stayed in martin's comfort in feb 2013. we found the place clean and well maintained with a beautiful pool and kids' play activities. the service at the reception and at the breakfast table were equally good. there were a few foreigners here and i bet they liked it here as well. we liked the beaches near this inn the best. a very clean and crystal clear majorda beac...

Room was fresh and clean, big fridge with mini bar, great wifi and even greater hosts. Don't know what we would have done without them, all ATMs were closed so we had no money to get a taxi to the airport so they kindly drove us there themselves. The loveliest couple, who really put everything in to their guesthouse and caring for their guests. Would 100% stay again an...

We have travelled in India before...but we would rate this hotel as the filthiest place we have stayed at to date. We arrived to vermin droppings on a dirty bedcover, musty room and a toilet with disgusting toilet seat and bowl, mold on shower curtain and a wet floor. We asked to be moved. We were upgraded to a suite BUT the same..a filthy pillow, dirty sheets and filt...

Location of JES guesthouse is really quite and has a beach within 10 min of walking distance which was a life saver and the beach too was very less crowded and awesome during the night Mr Damaceino (Dominic) was very friendly and loved the hospitality I rate 5star to the accomodation he provided

Mind blowing. Better than expectation. Most importantly the Owner of the Resort is so responsible that being out of the country he made calls to everyone to cater better hospitality.Excellent breakfast.Awesome ambiance.Neat & clean Swimming pool for enjoyment.

Majorda beach is very quiet except in the peak tourist period; big wide clean beach with a few restaurants/bars, good swimming with some small waves. Room had everything I needed, including satellite TV for before bedtime. If you like low key, clean, a few tasty local restaurants, nice wide beaches, this could be your spot. Place pumps Dec tru Feb..

I have mixed feelings regarding this place. On one side the people there were nice, when we arrived they gave us a supperior type of room, gave us some complimentary snacks and were very helpful. On the other side we stayed in a tent which was quite moldy, it had mosquitoes, flees from all the dogs roaming arround and spiders. I felt there with more than 100 bites in 3...

Beach is only 10-15 min away and it’s a lovely walk. There’s two restaurants right next to the guest house. We preferred the one called Camaron’s, great food and staff very friendly. We initially booked to stay here for 2-3 nights, we loved the guest house and Majorda so much we stayed for 7 nights!
